Budget Host Three Crowns Motel, Gettysburg

We have been staying here for over 20 years. Over the last 7-8 years the quality and cleanliness has steadily gone down hill. Our last stay will be our last! The first morning we woke up , we found a live bed bug crawling across the sheets. We immediately checked out and we were given a full refund. We positively identified an adult and 3 others in various stages of growth.

We stayed at this motel for 4 days. We had no problems and the rooms were cleaned every day. The people running it were very nice and helpful. The bathroom in our room was equipped for handicapped which was nice since i can't move around to much. We will certainly stay here again.

I have been going to Gettysburg and Staying in this motel since the 1960's I have referred many Great Price and Location can not be beat, But I will never return, this is the BIG D's last time there. It is dirty, service bad, and cant trust in safety to stay there any longer

I thought the price was right but that's about it! The room smelled horribly and the sheets on the bed were dirty and rough. My buddy also stayed at this hotel and found blood on the sheets! The decor was from 1950 and we were afraid to use the shower. Good location, but don't spend the night here.

Three years ago I was looking for somewhere inexpensive to stay in Gettysburg, I found the Budget Host. It's nothing fancy, but it is clean and comfortable. You can park your car and walk everywhere. We have stayed here since and plan on it again this year. If you are looking for a Holiday Inn or Hilton, this is not the place, but if you are looking for a clean, no frills place to stay...this is it! Great pizza place across the street and a great lttle restaurant (The Avenue) down the street for a great breakfast.

Traveling from Wisconsin with a handi-capped family member, we were very suprised to have been put into the only accesible room for my mom. My family doesn't need to have room service and all that jazz, so our room was everything we could ask for. The parking outside of the door was great, too. The manager went way out of his way to make sure that we had a wonderful stay. We did choose this hotel because of the location and price and we were not disappointed there either. I would really recommend this motel to anyone and everyone.

when we got the room. we thought we got the best deal ever, but by the time we left, the sheets had blood stains all over them and small bugs crawling everwhere. not worth the location or value.

First, the floor was dirty as if no one bothered to go in and clean, there was trash under the bed, crumbs on the sheets and I bet the cleaning crew only tossed the covers back on because I was bitten a couple dozen times by bugs and I suffered a mild allergic reaction from it. That place needs to be burned down.

No Wireless Internet, in fact no internet, AC does not work well, Doors have gaps and leak air, Staff was slow with Towels, cleaning and not very responsive with cleaning, and we were forced to take a smoking room which was disgusting even though we requested a non smoking room..

I have stayed at this hotel 3 times in the last three months. It is in the perfect location with very functional rooms and accomadating staff. Dave the manager does a great job and is willing to assist guests in any way he can. I have been going to Gettysburg for 40 years and have stayed just about everywhere in town. The Budget Host is now my hotel of choice.
