Very good place to stay for the dollar. Less expensive than the Holiday Inn Express, and service was great. I concur with the other reviewer, ask for a room Not facing the freeway. I did think the "Queen" sized beds seemed a little small, but since I didn't have my tape measure with me, I couldn't verify :) They have a nice continental breakfast (including waffles), altho I wish they had eggs, scrambled or boiled as well. Overall, a great place to stay for the value!

Excellent value

We have stayed at 3 Windmill Inns in the last several years,usually the Roseburg hotel,. as we passed through Oregon. The rooms are always clean, no noise or odor problems, and the staff is competent. The comp. breakfast is very good, featuring my favorite; waffles. The whirlpool is clean and at a good temp. (many others are not warm enough.) The CEO is unbelievably responsive to suggestions, unlike the vast majority of corporations and businesses. (Worst offender= Pizza Hut) Parking is free and easy. Ask for a room which does not face the freeway. We are stopping at this property tomorrow, and will request a patio room, which is facing the inner courtyard. Please do not tell too many people about this hotel; I don't want it to be sold out when I need a room in Roseburg.

Wow, I'm impressed

What a perfect hotel. I can't think of anything they could have done to make the stay better. I've stayed in 5 star big name hotels that cannot compare to the Windmill Inn. The whole facility was extremely clean, neat and looked like new. The bed was very comfortable, bathroom was clean and the continental breakfast was great. On my next trip I plan to schedule a stop at the Windmill Inn if possible. Stay there and you will not be disapointed.
