Economy Inn, Hermiston

This is a $29 dollar room and I paid $103, the walls have food on them, the bathroom floor is black with mold, the shower is just as bad, used cups on the floor, hasn't been vacuumed in who knows how long,kept light on all night just in case it had roaches.

They are under new ownership and they are doing everything they can to make everyones stay the best that it can be! They have been working on everything! It is looking better in the last couple weeks!

There is a new manager and he is really trying to turn things around, he is very polite and helpful. The place has been cleaned up and is looking good.

I've stayed at this "Inn" at least half a dozen times and for the price, I get what I pay for but this last stay was my LAST! Usually I get a recently re-painted, clean (but old) room with very few other guests in the building. This time the place was packed (VERY NOISY) and the room I got was not clean; used coffee in the coffee maker, no soap (good thing I pack a few travel bars), remote for TV did not work, no wash cloths, hand towels had stains on them that took my breath away! Employee refused a refund and no other room to move me to. My family members got a room with no shower head on the pipe above tub and that's the only place the water came out of! Our group occupied 3 rooms and NONE of us will go back there! As we checked-in, at 10:10 pm, the music and yelling from the pool was overwhelming. We inquired as to when the pool would close and of a possible noise ordnance; the employee shrugged that the pool closed at 10 but didn't really seem to care. If I hadn't had "OK" experiences with this place in the past we would have left before we checked in. Needless to say I don't think my traveling companions will let me chose our next motel!

I have reservations here and they haven't answered the phone for 2 days. I will be making reservations elsewhere and they better not charge me for a missed cancellation

because we did not get nice towels, the promised continental breakfast between 6 and 9 and the TV reception was terrible the Economy Inn was not the place for us.

i checked in at about 2 pm and the room still was not cleaned. I left for a couple hours and came back and was cleaned but the coffee pot had used coffee in it. The tub drain plug did not work and the maid then just walked in my room without knocking a couple hours after i checked in. I told the desk and their response was "oh well". I should have been offered at least a partial refund. I will never go to this hotel again.I had also asked and paid for a non smoking room and received a smoking room and i am allergic to cigarette smoke so did not work out so well for me.
