LOVED EVERY MINUTE
By Elizabeth M, 3/6/10
I had the pleasure of staying at the Lakeshore Inn on my most recent trip to the portland area. This hotel is wonderful!! All the rooms have been recently remodled and are very fresh and clean. I had a quaint room off the lake side (courtyard?) and loved it so much. The room was very clean, I loved the decor, and the property as a whole is beautiful. I especially loved the shower. It was so fresh and clean, it was one of the best showers I've had in a long time. All the employees I came in contact with (one being Stacia at check-out) were sweet, courtious, helpful and attentive. Anything I needed they were right there to point me in the right direction. I had such a wonderful stay at the Lakeshore Inn, I will definately be back next time I'm in the area.

Great Location, Great Room
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/22/05
My family had a great time at the Lakeshore. We had a lakefront room with a separate bedroom and living room with a kitchen, and deck looking at the lake. From the hotel we could walk to Noah's bagels and Starbucks, and there was a park and fountain right next to the hotel. Our kids loved the pool next to the lake. We will definately be back!

Great View, Great Rooms
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/30/05
We loved our stay at the Lakeshore Inn. We had a One Bedroom Suite that was lakefront with a kitchen and deck. From the hotel we could walk to restaurants, shops and a great little park. Our kids loved the lakeside pool. We will definately be back!

We go back every year
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/25/05
We love the location. Walking distance to great restaurants, movies, shopping. Beautiful lake view. We hang out at the pool lake side and friends come to visit while the kids are happy playing and swimming in the pool. Rooms are clean, comfortable, good sized and many have kitchen or partial kitchen which is great with kids and snacks. My kids look forward to going back each summer! The staff is always friendly. Pastries in the office in the morning, cookies in the afternoon, as well as complimentary coffee all day long. We recommend staying here.

Terrible, Terrible Experience
By Boyd, 6/1/05
Stayed at the Lakeshore Inn, because of its close proximity to downtown Portland and the view of Lake Oswego. However, on our first night, the power in the room went out. When the manager, Larry, arrived he came through the door berating us with a stream of profanity for using too many appliances. After explaining that all we did was turn on the motel supplied hair dryer, he rolled his eyes and told us to make due until morning. Oh, and this was on one of the hottest night's in recent memory. Needless to say, we immediately checked out. Bottom line: the rooms were filthy and the service was beyond poor. Do not make the mistake of staying here. You've been warned...
