The Kah-Nee-Ta High Desert Resort & Casino is a vacation destination located on the Warm Springs reservation in Central Oregon. The resort's rustic Lodge has 139 rooms and suites with each room offering a deck with panoramic views of the resort and valley, while the Village area offers 31 rooms close to the pool and other activities. The Lodge is located about a 1/2 mile from the Village area and shuttle service is available for guests. The casino features 350 slots, blackjack, a poker room and includes a designated non-smoking area.Resort amenities include a restaurant, lounge, snack bars, fitness center with sauna and steam rooms, a conference center, wireless Internet, and movie rentals. The Chinook Room offers panoramic views and serves Northwest cuisine and is open year round. The Appaloosa Lounge offers a lunch and dinner menu and provides beverage service to the Lodge Pool. Sit on the deck, relax and enjoy the sun or catch a game on the 9 ft. projection screen. Kah-Nee-Ta offers its famous Traditional Salmon Bake Buffet every Saturday night, Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend. Salmon filets are skewered on cedar sticks and baked over alder wood coals by Tribal members while guests enjoy the sights and sounds of the traditional Indian dancing styles of the Warm Springs people.
