We'll be back!

We had a great time staying at the Mazama Motor Inn. It has been recently renovated and was in great shape. I would definitely recommend it. The sheets and towels were of very good quality, and the room was very clean. The location is great....just a short drive to the lake. There is a store nearby that has everthing from food to souvenirs. They even have a penny sqashing machine!
The room is a little spendy for a sparse and simple room, but once you see that magnificent lake, you'll realize that it's worth it. As noted in previous reviews, there is no TV. But who goes to a National Park to watch TV?! Bring a book, a magazine, or a friend if you need something to do after dark.
Things to note:
1. Bring mosquito repellant! The mosquitos are everywhere! We had a couple in our room, but they are much much worse when you are actually up by the lake.
2. Get gas before you head to the park because there are no gas stations anywhere near the park, and the one they do have in the park itself only has outrageously expensive regular unleaded.
3. There are no refrigerators in the rooms, so bring a cooler.
