Taken Advantage
By David, 06/24/09
The hotel is dirty and rundown. We made the mistake of staying one night( we checked out ASAP) when we planned to see a military graduation located on Ft. Sill. The room smelled of mildew and mold. The bathroom was dirty and stained. NEVER AGAIN.

Never Again
By David, 03/29/09
We booked a room at the "Red Lion", but couldn’t find the hotel. While driving up and down Cache road I recognized the hotel under its new name "The Executive Inn". The room was booked at a reduced rate due to a business trip, down from the $100.00/night charge. When entering the room I was disgusted; mold was embedded in the shower, bathroom and baseboards. The carpet was old and stained. The room smelled of cigarette smoke, this again was upsetting due to the booking of a nonsmoking room. The microwave oven in the room was encased with old food and stains. A complaint to the front desk resulted in the clerk giving my wife a rag some cleaner and instructions for her to clean the appliance. We would have left that night but all other hotels rooms were booked, due to Ft. Sill’s weekly graduation. We checked out the next morning. I would sleep in a barn before returning to that hotel.

Convenience to Fort Sill
By CINDY T, 09/15/08
What is there to like about MOLD!!!! MOLD!!! And ore MOLD. The rooms are infested with mold and mildew. Our shower ceiling leaked. It took a whole day to get someone to look at the air cond. The eating area in the lounge is also filled with MOLD!!! Just look at the vents when sitting down to eat. If you would like pictures of the mold we have plenty. This place needs a lot of cleaning. The Davis and Thomas families.

A Louisianian's Veiw

I rated this Red Lion 4 Stars because service, value and location where exactly what I was paying for. The Hotel maids were the most gracious ladies I have ever meet that will converse with you to find out what you need to make your stay better. Actually trying to improve the way the switch board is being taking care of, helps alot.

You get what you pay for
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/17/07
A good, plain-jane hotel. Clean rooms, good breakfast and pleasant service. You're not paying top or bottom dollar, so adjust expectations accordingly. This ones better than other 2-star hotels where non-smoking rooms can still smell like ashtrays and when the bars let out you can bank on being woken up by drunken idiots. Every time we've stayed it's been relatively quiet and pleasant and we plan on continuing to stay there every time we go to Lawton.

Disappointed by dirt
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/05/06
Just back from the Lawton, OK Red Lion and have to say I'm very disappointed. After searching the web for a centrally located, resonably priced motel with a name associated with quality I thought I was all set. Upon arriving and checking in at the front desk I thought those expectations would be met as the common areas are clean, neat, and inviting. However, after going around to the side the room was located on I had immediate misgivings. The windows have self-stick sunblock film that's scratched and looks like the windows are cracked. The bathroom floor was dirty and dusty on the entire side by the toilet and the grout was cracked all around the tub. I'm not sure when the last time the end table by the dusty chair had been cleaned but the damp face cloth I used came up brown from the dirt.

What a nightmare
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/07/06
The other people giving this hotel a good review must work there or own an interest in it. This is the most tired and worn out hotel I have ever stayed in. After arriving late one night, we had to stay there but moved out the next day. Do yourself a favor. Stay somewhere else.

Very nice hotel, clean, the staff were friendly and helpful. They make every attempt to accomodate personal needs and wants. Would highly reccomend this hotel for anyone who wishes for a relativly cheap, but worthwhile stay.
