Should have stayed at a pay by hour motel!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/13/11
First of when I pullled into the garage to have my car valet parked no-one came, so i parked it myself. then I needed help with my bags and I had to go in and find someone to help me. once I got to my suite, I noticed it wasn't to bad. that was until i had to call down for sheets to the sofa bed and the restroom had no face cloths...

Rip Off
By Jon, 12/22/09
Got a room there through Priceline. Supposedly a "three star." It was small and cramped. Smallest hotel bathroom anywhere! Was charged $10 for parking, $10 for internet, $25 for breakfast cereal we thought was free. This place has pretensions of being much nicer than it is. I wouldn't stay there again even if they paid me.

Would not stay here again
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/26/09
You hear three strikes and you are out - they are out! Management was rude, housekeeping never showed up, room was dirty. We will never stay at this hotel again.

Uhm...never again
By OhioCityBoy, 6/23/08
Upon check in the toilet was broken. I checked to see if the sofa in the room was a bed, yep it was, but I had to have housekeeping remove the dirty socks that were under the cuishions. It took the hotel 3 times to fix the toilet. I called for my vehicle and waited 11 minutes for someone to answer the phone. Upon asking why I waited so long the person stated, "It wasnt that long" I needed to get to a local hospital, but that was never of any interest to the hotel staff. I will not return and would rather stay in a car.

Perfect for Our Needs
By practical, 1/24/08
We chose the Doubletree, because it is one block from the Schuster Performance Center. Free shuttle from airport w/ only 20 minute wait. Very helpful staff. Rennovated, clean, bathrooms, spacious closet with iron and board, terrific kingsize bed with extra pillows and crisp sheets. Toasty warm. Spartan restaurant, but very nice staff and pretty good menu. Downside - drab decor, small rooms by today's standards, crummy neighborhood at night. The bar is an afterthought. Needs help. Overall, great value. We'll stay there again.

Not a good experience
High speed internet access did not work despite numerous attempts by service staff to fix. On the second night I returned from dinner to find my dresser full of ants. I was moved to another room in fact upgraded to a suite where the internet access actually worked.

Terrible Customer Service
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/10/06
The rooms are fairly nice, but not up to par with other Doubletrees I have stayed in. The staff are not concerned at all with making you happy, or even reserving rooms as requested. The managers are no help either. I think the only reason they are in business is because there aren't very many options in Dayton.
