Parkway Inn, Middletown

The room was horrible! Cigarette burns scattered the carpet, toilet seat, bedding, furniture -- furniture and bedding looked like it came from the garbage dump next to an oil refinery, a tube fluorescent lamp flickered all night, holes in the wall, bare wires, no smoke detectors, filthy bathroom, one hand towel no bath towels no soap, smelled of urine and smoke, the bed was like that of a pull out sofa and I am sure it would show thousands of body fluids everywhere from days of prostitutes past. It was worse than a Washington, DC hostel. Bugs everywhere and the smell of a refrigerator gone warm and sour.
