Pictures look a lot better than actual
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/29/11
kind of dumpy. looked outdated and dirty. Would pay more money and stay somewhere else. For the price you would expect more!

Do not stay here
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/26/10
The only thing that I liked about this hotel was the location. The hotel was not very clean and the rooms were one of the worse I had ever stayed in. The pool was nice, however the water was not clean looking and the hot tub was cold. Also the game room and entrance was covered in water. The game room only had three games and they were outdated. The hallways were heated during the summer. I did not notice any smoke alarms. The breakfast that they had was the worse I had ever seen at a hotel. They only had stale muffins. I did not see any thing to drink either. the bathrooms needed to be remodel. The tub would make cracking noises when you got in, the toilets did not want to flush, and the lack of towels and bathroom supplys. Not only was the overall experience bad, but the service that they gave was also. I waited at the counter and listen to the phone ring and ring and the lady never picked it up. When we called the front desk we couldn't get an answer either. I would not recommend that you stay at this hotel. It was the worse hotel that i had ever stayed at. The only thing that was good was the location.

Such a Disapointment
By ItsMe, 7/16/08
My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel last weekend because we were visitng Cedar Point and we found this to be one of the more inexpensive hotels; however it looked very nice online. Well let me tell you......we definently got what we paid for. Granted the lobby was all re-done and looked very nice the room was terrible. The furniture was very old and all the chairs had stains all over then. The carpet was worn out so bad it was discolored. The bed consisted of a box spring on the floor with a mattress on it. For 85 dollars a night I actually felt ripped off! The shower was dirty to the point I had to buy a pair of flip-flops and wear them in the shower. The pool and hot tub looked disgusting and stained. Not to mention the only think somewhat near the hotel was a dollar store and mcdonalds. Thank God we spent most of the days at the park and not in the gross hotel. Please spend the little bit of extra money and stay somewhere else.

Will stay again
By Lan, 7/12/06
This hotel is near Cedar Point. It is a quiet hotel, and the staff is very nice. There is a lounge on the property as well as a decent diner. The pool was just OK but the rooms have all been refurbished and are neat and clean. We will absolutely stay again.

Horrible Experience
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/5/05
I am writing regarding my reservation at Bellevue Hotel and Suites on August 5, 2005. In making this reservation I spent half a day on the phone and on the Internet trying to find a room large enough to accommodate the number of people in my party and I finally found this room. After a tiring day, we arrived at the hotel and we were informed we did not have reservations. They did have information regarding us and our confirmation number. No one tried contacting us to inform us of any changes. There was plenty of time to inform us if this were truly the case. We were absolutely appalled. We spent another 30-minutes at the hotel while they were waiting for someone to contact them with an available room at another hotel 30-minutes away, the area we just left. I had checked many hotels in the area when setting up this reservation. EveryoneI contacted was booked. We could not wait any longer being so exhausted and with several children waiting in the car. Our travelling plans had been completely ruined as a result of this. We had planned on going to Seneca Caves and visiting Amish stores the following day. We tried to stop at a few hotels on the way home, but the ones located next to the highway were all booked. We ended up driving home because we couldn't find anything last minute. Almost falling asleep at the wheel several times from exhaustion we finally arrived home after being awake for 24 hours. I ended up becoming ill because of the lack of sleep. I am thoroughly disappointed and angered because this happened. Our trip was cut short and I physically suffered because of the lack of sleep. I expected to be compensated for the oversight of someone in charge of booking rooms. We were told the only thing they would do was to give us a $40 discount on our next visit. This is not the way to treat a guest. Very Rude and irresponsible. Never Again!!!Don't recommend at all.

Fallen Glory
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/27/05
Friends in Bellevue said this motel had deteriorated since being sold by a chain. They were right. I can't see why they haven't hired someone to tend to the grounds, someone to shampoo the carpets once in awhile (the hallways stank!), and someone to clean that cesspool they called the "outdoor pool." Yuk! On the other hand, the room was clean, the price is okay, and the staff had a nice selection of pastry and good coffee in the morning. Betty's Restaurant on the grounds looked similarly seedy, but provided a fine breakfast both days we were there. If you're visiting Bellevue, this is conveniently located.

The focus here is definitely on economy, not quality
By MichelleP, 8/18/04
My husband was very upset about the lack of security at this hotel; the doors were propped open so anyone who wanted to could wander the halls; the sliding window in the room did not have a lock; it was blocked with a broom handle.
Don't be misled by the photos on their website; this place is definitely in need of a remodel. The paint is peeling off the wall in the indoor pool; the water in the pool is so cloudy, you can't even see your body. The bushes are overgrown.
And, the ghost town of a business districtis not as charming as they would lead you to believe.
