Comfort Inn Dickinson, Dickinson

The receptionist was very friendly and helpful however she didn't give us too much information. When we called that day to see if they had any openings she said yes, one room and when asked if they had a pool told us yet. We checked in and brought our two kids down to the pool however the waterslide was broken and not operational. So our 7 year old swam in the bigger pool. After dinner that evening we went back to the pool for the kids to swim and the pool was empty - we went to the front desk and she told us they had closed the pool for maintenance. How frustrating was that they couldn't even tell us that earlier in the day when we booked. The windows in our room were so dirty with cobwebs we could barely see out. The housekeeping came around at 8:45 to clean our room the next morning (our kids weren't even awake). I will never stay here again or recommend it. It was way over priced for what service we got.

I have stayed with the Comfort Inn for the past 7 years and this last stay has made me change my mind of staying with them again. 1. The room was not clean, had dog crap on the bed spread! 2. Clerks were very rude and not willing to change rooms even after speaking with the manager. They finally came and had a maid change the sheets again. 3. There were kids running in the haul after 1am and even after telling the front desk about them they pulled the fire alarm at 2am. 4. The maids came into my room after only tapping on the door and woke up my kids and I at 7am. They did this twice. 5. breakfast area was not clean and was not fully stocked. Even though it did not close for another whole hour. Will NOT stay here again! Bad people working there, not happy!

When I got to Dickinson ND, and arrived at this place I checked and told the front desk clerk that I planned to stay 3 nights and then went up to my marginal room, (keep in mind I told her that MORE than once). It was clean.. at least.. but that 's it.. sleep wasn't forth coming. Got up for my work at 5:30am and left my room THINKING I was going back to it.. I thought WRONG!! When I arrived back, at approximately 9pm, I entered my room and shockingly someone else was IN IT. My Key card still worked, and when the other gentleman and I saw each other we were both in shock. I noticed some of my belongings were still in the room but so were his. So I went down to the front desk to find out what happened and the front desk clerk and all she could do was say "I apologize and I don't remember you saying that.... " There were NO other rooms available in the area, except for some room that they had with NO BED but a PULL OUT COUCH. In my exhaustion I took it. So basically NOT only did they give the room away that I HAD reserved but they also had left some of my PERSONAL BELONGINGS IN IT WHEN THEY GAVE IT AWAY!! I know I WILL NOT be staying at this place, nor will ANYONE that works for me or anyone else that I can talk to about this particular place.

This place has a water park in it that our 3 year old LOVED. But considering how nice the lobby is, the rooms were not very nice at all. They were very small and looked like they needed to be updated. Also, it was very humid in the room, even with the a/c on. But considering that there isn't a lot of other hotels to choose from I would stay here again.

This was a value priced family hotel. We stayed for the pet policy, pool, and the breakfast. Everything was average for a hotel under $100 per night. Room was mostly clean, but dated. Staff was mostly friendly, but nothing extra. We would stay again at the Comfort-NEVER go to the Super 8=terrible.
