Never in my life have I EVER stayed at a hotel that did not have blankets.........only sheets. If I wasn't staying for a conference I would have been out of there. :-( Not to mention - it was DIRTY. :-(

Living in MN and rest of Family in MT. this was the perfect place to meet half way for a weekend visit. Close to some good restaurants and shopping. Making the trip back and forth, this hotel is also the best place to stop for the night. I will not stay at another hotel. The service is great and the hotel restaurant service has always been good for the 20 or so years I have been staying there.

Sunday morning brunch

We frequently go to the Doublewood for breakfast after church. We were seated immediately but no one waited on us for drinks, nor brought us any water. After seeing someone else get their own coffee, I got some for my husband and myself. No one asked about drinks for the rest, so my grandson had water and lemonade rather than milk. I got the water myself also.The other 2 at our table drank water. The table next to us had 4 people and 2 pots of coffee. 3 waitresses were milling around cleaning tables- the only service they offered was to take our plates before we were finished. Up to this point I was beginning to think we were invisible. When I called the manager-she said they were not short staffed and we should have said something at the till-It was a bit late at that point. She offered a sort of apology- only saying it must have been a fluke. It was not busy-so that was not the excuse.
