Graystone Inn, Wilmington

We stayed at this inn while exploring Wilmington as a place to retire. Rich and Marcia were wonderful hosts and Rich's breakfast was DELICIOUS!!!! If you want to be pampered, this is the place to stay. Clean rooms. Beautiful rooms and a breakfast you will not forget. We now are retired in Wilmington and drive by the Graystone Inn and remember the wonderful experience we had there. Jane

The Graystone Inn was beautiful and the room my husband and I stayed in made me feel so pampered. The breakfasts were wonderful. I am a picky eater and worry about what will be served at the B&B's, but I was in heaven.

Just spent the past 3 days at Graystone- What a wonderful place. It's beautiful, clean and warm! The complete experience was a dream.

I contact the innkeeper at 9pm at night asking easy questions about his B&B such as price and what is included in the breakfast. He was very short with me, and would only say that he closes at 10pm and that if I was going to get a room, I would need to hurry up. Even after me stating that I was less than 10 minutes away. The innkeeper seemed to be a rude snob that wasnt worth my money. I told him the internet price was $159 and all he could say was well that was earlier today and in a rude tone "are you coming or not" . I wanted to do something special for my wife on our anniversary but I dont care if it was the last B&B in Wilmington I wouldnt give them a penny. He started terrible before I even arrived.

My husband and I stole away for a weekend in November 2005. I felt like I just came home to Grandma's (only my grandma wasn't this rich). It's like a wonderful step back in time! True elegance, wonderful hospitality, exceptional quarters! We're headed back in March, providing there are vacancies. Don't miss it! muriel bickhart

My husband and I chose to stay at the Graystone for our 25th wedding anniversary. We were so pleased with the beauty of the inn and the wonderful care we received. Rich and Marcia are delightful and gracious hosts. The food was wonderful and the inn is beautiful. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this wonderful place to anyone. Denise Notz Cheyenne Wy.

In July I took my girlfriend to the Graystone Inn. We had the most amazing weekend of our lives because that weekend I ask my girlfriend to marry me. My fianc� was knocked off her feet as the horse drawn carriage picked us up from the inn and whisked us away on a romantic ride around old Wilmington. The inn keepers were amazing helping me create the most romantic weekend of our lives. The breakfasts were delightful gourmet treats to start each day and the rooms at the Inn were more beautiful then any pictures could show. Truly this was an amazing place for an amazing weekend. If you have a chance to stay at the Graystone don�t hesitate you will love as much as we did. Thanks, we will never forget our weekend with you.

We loved everything including the great hospitality we received. They made their home feel like our own, we were in awe of this mansion and can't wait to return.

Lovely innkeepers, wonderful property, fa bulous breakfast. Very peaceful even though it is great location downtown. Hard to beat!
