The Sherry-Netherland, New York

The location is legendary, the staff is some of the best I've experienced, and the suite was larger than my first apartment. My only complaint in the entire experience was that the suite's furnishings were a bit worn down. Aside from that, I would stay there again while in Manhattan.

You will feel like royalty here! The rooms are beautiful! The baths are are all marble. I love this place, it's one of my favorite hotels! Everything is first class! The lobby in tiny but beautiful. I love riding the elevator just to look at ceiling! Very elegant! Ciprianis is nice too, but expensive. If you want to splurge and totally feel spoiled, go here!

Most people think of the Plaza when they're looking for a hotel at Central Park. The Shery Netherland is a hidden gem which has the famous Cipriani restaurant (where you're always sure to see a celebrity). The rooms are nice and large, and no two are the same. The service is impeccable, and the value is great for this level of hotel. And, of course you can't find a better location. It sits right on the park and is within walking distance to the best shopping in New York.
