Not Great for the price
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/18/09
No Fridge or microwaves in double queen size room. Lighting in the bathroom was poor.

Watch out for opened water bottles.
By Donna, 08/04/08
The place is great and the staff is friendly and helpful. The only thing I noticed was the bottled water that is in the rooms are $3.50. I did have one but, also noticed the other was full but had a broken seal. So I imagine someone refilled it with tap water. I had adviced the desk personnel to advice housekeeping to keep an eye out for that. Otherwise, the rooms were great! Love the large HDTV's.

Worst Sheraton I've ever stayed at
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/04/07
The staff was incredibly rude. Asking for a taxi was intruding on them and they let you know it by looking annoyed. Our drink got stuck in the drink machine and when we called the desk they told us that they wouldn't be coming to assist us and that we should go down and get our money back. When we asked where another drink machine was, they actually responded "I'm not sure". Why do they have no idea where the drink machines are located......don't they work there? The room was old, the bed was lumpy and the carpet was filthy. I was afraid to walk around barefoot. So much for paying for a suite. I wouldn't stay there ever again.

Good choice
By Adam B, 06/05/07
I liked how friendly all of the staff were and I liked my room and the view. Everything was there that I needed and the furniture & bed were great. Close proximity to Syracuse University. Short walk to unhealthy fast food joints and bars. Room service was fast and the food was pretty good (but only gave me a total of 2 scallops for oen of their scallops appetizers???). I thought the gym was pretty good. I was able to do what I needed to do. I disliked the paper thin walls. I could hear my neighbor verbatim when he spoke on the phone. I could hear people out in the hallway talking about trying to find their room. When my neighbor's phone rang at 3:30am on my last night, I thought it was in my room because I could hear it as if it were next to me. I sat up and tried to find my phone. This shouldn't happen in a quality hotel. The other big negative for me was the internet access. It was painfully slow probably due to the heavy traffic. Overall, I recommend the hotel for the area.

Not Worth It
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/31/06
The price you have to pay to stay at this hotel is def. not worth it. My hotel room had personal objects left in the bathroom shower and sink from the guest before obviously telling me that it was not cleaned well. Not even that the room wasnt cleaned well but the room itself wasnt worth what I paid. And finally the customer service was HORRIBLE, I had a problem with the hotel stay and the manager was extremely rude to me for no reason. Also there is NO room service past 11pm and no free breakfast.

Not worth the price
By evan, 04/06/06
The Hotel was nice but I was unipressed by what you got for your money. The rooms seemed uninspired and the girl at the front desk was a bit surly.

sysco food show client
By d m, 02/17/06
I travel twice a year to syracuse just for the sysco food show. I have the choice of four other hotels to stay. I choose the Sheraton because it's centrally located. plenty of parking and I have found the room very comfortable, spacy and clean. The staff is always very helpful. I will continue to stay at the sheraton for the food shows and any other reason that I may have business in syracuse.

One of the best i've ever stayed at.
By julie, 09/23/05
there are absolutly no dislikes. The location and the staff made this the only place I stay when I visit Syracuse. I have a daughter in school there and this hotel helped me figure out where every thing was so I could get her settled.

If in Syracuse, this is the place to stay.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/01/05
Among the competition, this hotel stands out for its service. The club level concierge and flexible hotel shuttle alone bring me back everytime I am in town.
