Go Somewhere Else!

When we first walked in the room it looked ok, but now that we have been here it is dirty. The corners of the bathrooms are caked with filth. The bed is NOT comfortable whatsoever. The A/C has this high whistling sound every time it turns on. DON'T STAY HERE, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

Nice stay, again!

I've stayed in these "pod" or "village" style Residence Inns before and have always enjoyed the stay. The design is homey and the rooms well equipped for a long stay. The staff has always been friendly and professional and Fishkill is no exception. I was there for a week in winter and the crew kept the paths and parking lot clear of snow. In fact with the snow out the window, a fire in the fireplace and a local beverage you may forget you are 1800 miles from home on business. Well maybe not but a place like this takes the sting out.

Not all that great

I was put in a pet designated room and the smell was strong, they should have shampooed the carpet more often. My next trip, I hope they put me in a not so smelly room.

Will stay at Residence Fishkill again.

On arrival Bulbs were out in sconces by bed. Towel fixture over toilet fell down. Called front desk about 7pm. Was told no housekeeping staff on duty, will give message to housekeeping. Next day I checked with front desk. No message received. Within the hour bulbs changed and towel fixture fixed. Broiler pan in oven not washed;caked wih white grease,so I cleaned it. Large burner on stove didn't get above simmer, so I worked the small burners. I like location. Housekeeping and maintainance hard working. Room clean. Grounds well kept, clean and attractive. Relaxing garden apt. lay out. By the way I'm told Marriott no longer supplies TV guide. Bring your own. Don't eat breakfast out. I highly recomment the buffet style breakfast, which is well attended and has a variety of breakfast choices.

good hotel

the staff was excellent, the rooms and facilities extremely clean. it was a pleasant place to stay. my only complaint was that our kitchen lacked pots and pans for the stove.
