Amazing spa experience!!
By Nicole M, 05/26/09
I recieved a hot stone massage by Renee and was it fantastic!! She is by far the best masseuse I have ever met. She is perfect with her pressure and you can tell she loves her job! If you are getting a massage, ask for Renee!! I also received a pedicure from Abbey. She is fantastic also. Both girls will give you a great experience!!

Great skiing, terrible rooms.
By Erin, 12/16/08
My husband and I have been visiting the Peak since high school ski club. The skiing is great for all levels. Really can't complain about the food ($5.25 for a beer??). However the Inn really needs some updating. A fresh coat of paint and new carpet would be enough. It also smells very musty in the rooms. We weren't the only ones complaining at check out that we had no washcloths either. The real draw for the Inn to us used to be the pool and hottub, but even now that's outdated, and the hottub jets don't always work. Take your money (actually half of it) and get a room at the Holiday Inn Express.

Getting better every year!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/13/08
Peek' n Peak is the best! We have been going to the Peak since 1976. It has become a BIG family affair for skiing and golfing. The entire staff has always been the best! We also learned to ski at the Peek. It has been our home away from home. It is not only getting bigger, but better! We have skied around the country but the Peek will always be our favorite because of the wonderful memories. Just can't beat the golf setting and the ski conditions! We will be back in March!

Disappointed in the buffet.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/25/07
Twice now we have tried the Seafood buffets. Once on the Sunday brunch and our latest visit for the Friday Night. Both times were dissappointing. Fridays buffet had many, many choices but lacked some of the better seafood such as crab or baked scallops. Several choices of desserts but nothing but no bananas foster. The heating units they use for the hot foods just do NOT keep food warm. Unless you are standing at the pan as it comes from the kitchen, every hot entree is luke warm to cold. The peak is a beautiful place but would not recommend their buffets.

Good time except if you're hungry
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/09/07
We stayed for the labor day weekend in a standard room. The room was outdated but clean and the housekeeping staff were helpful and polite. The kids loved the indoor playground and the pools, Mom enjoyed the spa, and Dad enjoyed the golf. The location of the resort is beautiful. The only thing that disappointed me was trying to eat! The restaurant was understaffed and the waitress who was working was very rude. There were many empty tables but it took over an hour to get served, which is hard with three young, hungry children. There is a nice breakfast buffet in the morning, but come dinner time, getting a meal was a chore.

Great for new skiers!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/30/05
Accommodations are so-so, but the ski school for children (and adult learners) is the best. Our 6-year-old daughter loved the school, which challenged each new skier's levels individually, but not beyond their capabilities. Safety was their first priority. Day One was her first time in skis -- and by Day Two she had improved to a level 5 skier and was using the chairlift by herself and was ready to move beyond the "bunny" slope. Being an experienced ice skater helped, and rather than being held back by others without her ability, or pushed too far to catch up -- the instructors helped her ski at her own pace. We loved it. She had a great time. And we're all looking forward to going back. We stayed in the main lodge, which is a little dated, but had some nice touches. The restaurants had good food. And the indoor pool was fun for family apres ski relaxation.....especially the connected outdoor pool. Be flexible and you'll have a great time.
