I found my family and I here when we go to Rockland county, & LI to see family and friends. Over the past 3 yrs we have stayed here 10 times location, location, location..pool,pool,pool Only once has there ever been a problem. It was this past Jan. cold as ice outside. When we got back to the room and opened the door to our room it was full of white smoke. It was the first night of our stay and what a start. There was a small fire in the heating system. When the Tallman FD got done doing what had to be done. Everyone was back in there rooms but us. They put us up in a different room and covered our stay that time, Meal too. Then gave us a one night stay which we used this summer. It is a little over priced, but you get a pool and hot tub, game room, fitness room too. They have a good breakfest and dinner.

We took two bus load of students to NYC and stay at this hotel. It was a very nice and clean hotel. The staff was very friendly.

We stayed here over a long weekend. It is a great place for a family with children who like to swim. They have an inside swimming pool. I read the previous reviews and didn't find noise to be a problem.

I don't request much from a hotel, I'm not really picky...really! We stayed here after driving half way across country to visit all our relatives in the NY area. On Memorial day, we decided we didn't want to venture out and get stuck in traffic, we wanted to hang out by the pool and relax.. unfortunately the night before someone broke glass in the pool (according to the front desk) so, we really didn't have much entertainment at the hotel. We headed out to Long Island. Our last night there we got in late and hoped to sleep in. Unfortunately at 8am, there was a jack hammer right outside our window (hotel was having concrete replaced) I called the front desk with the jackhammer going off and Thanked them for the wake up call. The wireless Internet worked well, they have a small business center, a small work out room, the dining room was not enclosed - although a nice quiet meal would be nice, some people may not like hearing people in the swimming pool. Over-all, I liked the hotel but was not pleased at all with the jack hammer at 8am. The hotel should have known better. (PS The Holiday Inn at Youngstown Ohio (Gerard Ohio) was awesome!
