great stay
By Len Davis, 9/25/11
This hotel was not our first pick, its old but I must say it nice for the 5 days we stayed there. We are very picky when it comes hotel stays, we wil stay there again when we visit the area. The food is good in hotel, room 614 has the best river view.

WONDERFUL!!!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/8/10
Our experience was GREAT and one we will never forget. The Staff, the food, the rooms, the area was absolutely perfect. From our check in with a friendly, warm greeting to our entering our spotless beautiful room, to our delicious dinner and then breakfast in the restaurant this was top notch. The food was 100% better than we expected. We would actually go back to the restaurant whenever we are in the area. Delicious!!! The staff at this hotel made you feel special ever moment. It is clear that the owners and Management truly care about the guest!!

Great Hotel I would go back in a minute
By Gayle, 9/6/10
The location is the best in NIagara Falls. All attractions are within a 1 minute to 5 minute walk! The roooms are newly renovated and I love the hardwood floors. We had dinner in the restaurant and it was superb. The service and the staff and second to none. The made you feel like a VIP and very knowledge about the area and directions. I would recommed that you stay here.

So Not Worth The Money! Look elsewhere.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/17/10
This hotel is located in fair walking distance to the falls. Other than that, it is not worth the money. The rooms were obviously redone recently as was the lobby. However the elevators are old slow and cruddy. The hallways are not air conditioned, also gross. The indoor pool was decent. The rooms are small but nicely furnished. The bathroom however was poorly redone and not entirely. It was crusty at best. When we arrived my wife pulled down the bed to see several stains, long hairs and sheets that were obviously not changed. We called the desk and within minutes they took care of it, but it set the tone. The coffee shop was a ripoff and we had heard only bad things about the food in the pub, so we went to eat elsewhere. Honestly the location makes you feel a little uneasy as there are always unsavory looking people hanging around at night. Did not feel safe. During they day no problem. The falls were splendid.

Would not go to this hotel again
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/6/10
Hotel was fair but my wife had jewelry stolen from room and management did nothing. We had a room right next to a security camera but management insisted their staff would not take anything even though nobody else came into room and we told them exactly where the item had been located . I've been a police officer over twenty years and some of the people who work at this place are thieves and the manager provides cover-STAY AWAY. If that is not reason enough there was a fire alarm our first night and one of the fire doors on the fifth floor was LOCKED shut. This was fixed the next day by staff but this type of problem should never happen.

would not come here again
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/1/10
Likes-the quest rooms all had hard wood floors. The room decor, as well as the TV's, were updated and looked nice. Dislikes-the common areas were dirty-hall ways, common restrooms, etc. Our comforter had what looked like blood on it. I could live with the mold in the shower, but I had to draw the line at the unknown substance found on the interior of our shower curtain. Housekeeping brought up a new curtain, but not before the front desk asked me "did you just notice this?". I told him that I don't make a habit of hanging out in the shower unless I'm using it, so yes, I did just notice it. While the room looks nice, the Hotel is very dirty. We could hear music playing loudly from from party on another floor. And since Hotels are a dime a dozen-dirty is inexcusable in my book.

One of the worst Holiday Inn hotels in the USA
By Ilia, 6/14/10
The laundry room is dirty; has only one washer dryer per 7 stories hotel. The dryer vented into the laundry room in violation of all fire codes. The guest room windows do not open - can not get fresh air into the room. Breakfast is NOT included in room rate, is expensive ($20/coupon)

absolutely wonderful and will return
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/5/10
This was our first trip to Niagara Falls. The staff at the Holiday Inn couldn't have been more informative and helpful. The rooms were imaculate and the beds were very comfortable to sleep in.Being able to walk to the falls and Canada was a treat. Found some great eating places to have a bite and I cannot find one thing wrong with our stay. Will be back again someday and again thanks to all who made our trip very pleasurable. Appreciate everyone associated with Holiday Inn Scenic Downtown Niagars Falls

Nice Hotel!
By Alicia, 1/18/10
We had very friendly service at this hotel and everything was open. The room was clean. In fact we had 2 rooms and they were both spotless. It is very close to the falls and we walked there most of the time. We did pay a bit more then I like for the one room but I was able to use points for the second room so I didn't feel too bad about that. Also we did go during a prime time. All in all, I would stay here again.
