average hotel but overpriced
At first glance, it seemed like a decent, basic hotel...a little above the "no frills" category but definitely not a hotel dripping with amenities. We were on the second floor and the first thing I noticed was the hot temperature in the hallways (weird, as it was only in the high 60's outside). Then we discovered that our room A/C did not work so we had to sleep with the windows open (and had to listen to semi's on the highway and rude and noisy hotel guests coming and going at all hours outside our window). The pillows are tiny and skinny and we both awoke with stiff necks. The room smelled (not horribly stinky but as though it needed to be aired out badly!) Not at all a fresh-n-clean smell that one would expect.
The breakfast service was very nice and well kept as was the lounge. The exercise room looked nice, unfortunately I did not get to use it. Service and housekeeping was good otherwise.
This hotel would have been great if the cost had been around $75 a night but as we paid about twice that amount, it left a lot to be desired.
