You pay for what you get
By Matt, 2/20/12
As mentioned above, you pay for what you get. Outside the hotel looks immaculate, but the rooms are not so much. With dirty carpets, linens not up to high class standards, and showers that provide no hot water, spend a little to a lot more and go upper class. Marriott family of hotels are the best, stay away from this hotel unless you are on budgets or last minute travels!!

Rundown
By Ryan, 2/20/12
Place looks sweet on the outside with the fountain and everything else. Inside is a whole new story. If you like getting cold showers, sleeping in dirty linen, cracks in the walls, and freezing your butt off, then this place is for you. The only thing good about the hotel is the location. You will have to pay $10 a day to park. Def not recommended for the price we paid. Spend a little more money and stay at the Hyatt, Marriott, or embasy suites.

Beware!
By Mike, 8/23/11
Beware- Dirty and run down! We were supposed to stay here in November 2010 however checked out after seeing that the room was filthy. Front desk informed us that we could get a refund from expedia as we booked through them. Received refund on credit but noticed that on next card statement Adams Mark had recharged us for another room. Called again to ask them to refund which I got. Then 6 months down the road get another charge on my card from Adams Mark hotel. Called again for explanation as to how this could happen not once but twice. Couldn't offer up anything other than it was another mistake and they refund. They gave me a refund for less than was charged and have been trying with no sucess to get the difference refunded. Left messages with accounting department and hotel manager and have not heard from any one.

I will never go back there!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/14/11
Hotel rooms were not cleaned well - dust on the carpet all along every wall. Just did not have a nice fresh appearance. About 10.30 first night - visitors came....mice. Got the room changed. The next night another visitor.. bed bugs..uggh Left in the middle of the night and will NEVER go back. Hotel staff was very nice, they took care of my bill but how else could they be? Find somewhere else to stay when in Buffalo!

awful
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/12/11
We booked here for a dance competition. Upon arrival the room looked dirty. We were promised a fridge and paid 10 extra per night for and the person at the front desk said they would look into it and never got back to us. Then we went downstairs to eat and the dinners are pricey, we got the buffet-all the food was cold, disgusting, and the service was terrible. We were in our uncomfy beds at 10:00 when we got a visitor-A RAT!! I called the front desk to report this problem and a non apologetic person said well someone will be up to catch it. Well that someone never came so we left. When we went down to the front desk it was well I don't know what to say-we are renovating. We ended up at the much nicer Embassy Suites at a higher price but it didn't include rodents! NEVER AGAIN!

Stay away!!
By Kami, 8/2/10
We picked this hotel based on its location in downtown buffalo. I knew we would be arriving late, so i called to confirm our reservation the day prior and have them put a note on to indicate we would be arriving late. We get there around midnight are second in line to check in and wait over 45 mins. When its finally our turn we are checked in and make our way up to our room, which turns out to be a smoking room on a smoking floor. The exact opposite of our reservation, after calling down to the front test we are told, "does it smell that bad" and "we do not have any other rooms for you". It was horrible! Additionally, our view was a concrete wall, the room was filthy with piles of dirt along the room edges, the tv looked like something from 1980 without a working remote, and no tissues in the bathroom. Only plus was the bed was comfortable and the shower was hot with full water pressue. Bottom line for the price stay anywhere else.

food poisoning
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/18/09
A large convention was held there in March--many people came down with food poisoning, and now the health dept. is investigating. The food was terrible, the restaurant service slow, and very noisy climate control in the rooms.

Amazing Stay in Buffalo
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/1/09
This was a grand hotel with a very low price. Food was great and had room service till 2 am. Free High Speed Internet was great most hotels we have to pay. Breakfast was not too expensive also. They also had a shuttel to take us everywhere in downtown. Over all the people working there were very very helpful and alwalys had a smile which made our stay great

Raining in My Room - Would never stay again
By Nada, 1/13/09
Like stepping into the 70s/80s. Needs upgrading. In the pictures, the linen is the only thing upgraded. All furniture is dated. It rained during out stay in Buffalo. The lobby had buckets to catch water and often water dripped on our heads from various ceiling locations. It rained in our room a pretty good significant amount (enough to soak 3 bath towels). The management did offer to move us to another room :). The fitness center equipment is outdated and the heart monitors do not work on equipment. Do not expect a "true" fitness center. They had approximately 6 pieces of equipment. If you book through yahoo, you will not receive a refund if you check out early despite poor accomodations. Do not recommend for serious travels and people that care where you rest. You must pay for parking as a guest. You will pay upon check out. $10 per day. The stay is not worth the money.

Won't Stay At The Adam's Mark Again!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/3/08
The price was under $100 per night, and that's about the only good thing I have to say about the Adam's Mark. We did not receive the requested room AWAY from the I-90 traffic, so when we got into our room (well after midnight), we were not happy to have the noisy interstate right outside our window. I called and complained, and luckily they had another room to move us to. The guy that came up to give us a new room key and help us relocate was very friendly. The next room was quiet, but dirty. Looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in a decade, with piles of dust and dirt in every corner, and along all the walls. One of the beds didn't even have a comforter. There were no fitted sheet on the beds and no mattress covers, just a flat sheet draped directly over the mattress. YUCK. Nothing like waking up in the morning, laying on a bare hotel mattress! The bathroom wasn't any better. There was mildew growing in the shower. The shower had no water pressure, just went constantly from scalding hot to freezing cold, over and over. We had to call to get our room cleaned the next day, because the cleaning people never showed up...apparently the nice guy that moved us forgot to note that there was someone in the new room, because they had no idea we were even there. They even called the room the next morning to find out who we were, and how we got in that room. The food at Cafe Deco downstairs was not too bad, but not great either. When it was time to pay the bill, our waitress was no where to be found, so we asked another waiter to cash us out. He wasn't acting very quickly, so then some other waitress saw and came over to him and starting scolding him like a child, right in front of us. Totally inappropriate and uncomfortable. Bottom line, we should have spent the extra $30-50/night and stayed somewhere else...and if we're ever in Buffalo again, that is exactly what we'll do.
