food poisoning
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/18/09
A large convention was held there in March--many people came down with food poisoning, and now the health dept. is investigating. The food was terrible, the restaurant service slow, and very noisy climate control in the rooms.

Amazing Stay in Buffalo
By Mike, 03/01/09
This was a grand hotel with a very low price. Food was great and had room service till 2 am. Free High Speed Internet was great most hotels we have to pay. Breakfast was not too expensive also. They also had a shuttel to take us everywhere in downtown. Over all the people working there were very very helpful and alwalys had a smile which made our stay great

Raining in My Room - Would never stay again
By Nada, 01/13/09
Like stepping into the 70s/80s. Needs upgrading. In the pictures, the linen is the only thing upgraded. All furniture is dated. It rained during out stay in Buffalo. The lobby had buckets to catch water and often water dripped on our heads from various ceiling locations. It rained in our room a pretty good significant amount (enough to soak 3 bath towels). The management did offer to move us to another room :). The fitness center equipment is outdated and the heart monitors do not work on equipment. Do not expect a "true" fitness center. They had approximately 6 pieces of equipment. If you book through yahoo, you will not receive a refund if you check out early despite poor accomodations. Do not recommend for serious travels and people that care where you rest. You must pay for parking as a guest. You will pay upon check out. $10 per day. The stay is not worth the money.

Won't Stay At The Adam's Mark Again!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/03/08
The price was under $100 per night, and that's about the only good thing I have to say about the Adam's Mark. We did not receive the requested room AWAY from the I-90 traffic, so when we got into our room (well after midnight), we were not happy to have the noisy interstate right outside our window. I called and complained, and luckily they had another room to move us to. The guy that came up to give us a new room key and help us relocate was very friendly. The next room was quiet, but dirty. Looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in a decade, with piles of dust and dirt in every corner, and along all the walls. One of the beds didn't even have a comforter. There were no fitted sheet on the beds and no mattress covers, just a flat sheet draped directly over the mattress. YUCK. Nothing like waking up in the morning, laying on a bare hotel mattress! The bathroom wasn't any better. There was mildew growing in the shower. The shower had no water pressure, just went constantly from scalding hot to freezing cold, over and over. We had to call to get our room cleaned the next day, because the cleaning people never showed up...apparently the nice guy that moved us forgot to note that there was someone in the new room, because they had no idea we were even there. They even called the room the next morning to find out who we were, and how we got in that room. The food at Cafe Deco downstairs was not too bad, but not great either. When it was time to pay the bill, our waitress was no where to be found, so we asked another waiter to cash us out. He wasn't acting very quickly, so then some other waitress saw and came over to him and starting scolding him like a child, right in front of us. Totally inappropriate and uncomfortable. Bottom line, we should have spent the extra $30-50/night and stayed somewhere else...and if we're ever in Buffalo again, that is exactly what we'll do.

I did not like the service and the price of the Deco Restaraunt. The conference food was terrible. I don't recomend going there for a conference.

BEST Hotel in Buffalo
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/30/08
This is the BEST hotel in Buffalo! I stayed at this hotel over the summer and thought the service was absolutely spectacular! The rooms are nothing special. They are clean and do the job a room is suppose to do. The restaurant was amazing! The breakfast buffet was a total of $13 but it was the best breakfast I have ever had! Unlimited juice and coffee with an assortment of fresh fruit, pastries, and made to order eggs and waffles! Vivian was our waitress and she was absolutely wonderful! Later we decided to stay in for lunch and ordered through room service. It was the fastest room service we have ever ordered. When we asked the room service waiter for directions he took the time to talk to me and my husband about the city of Buffalo! Kris is the best! The gentlemen at the front desk were helpful and friendly. They helped to assure the best stay possible. We will definitely, without hesitation, be back to the Adam's Mark hotel!

worst. service. ever.
By Scot, 04/25/08
I am actually sitting in my (sort of) hotel room at the Adams Mark Buffalo/Niagara right now, so steamed that I had to write a review immediately. My wife and I made reservations for 3 nights as part of a block of rooms for a wedding. When we arrive last night, we were told that our reservation had us arriving today. Because of that, there were no rooms available on the same floor as the rest of the block, but they were able to find us another room, and promised to have someone move us around noon today. This isn't a big deal, but it started to become a problem when I found out that the bride had personnally confirmed with the hotel that we would arrive last night. So today, at noon, I called the front desk, and was informed (rudely) that I couldn't be moved until 3:00. This is where the problem truly started, considering that my wife needs a room to get ready in before we head out to the rehearsal dinner, and will not be back until late tonight to move (nor will we want to.) The managers showd absolutely no interst in helping to silve this problem, simply stating that I wold have to wait until 3:00 to move (essentialy asking me to spend the day waiting for them to tell me that the room I should have been in already was finally ready.) It wasn't until I decided to call thier corporate customer service (when I discovered that the reservation they had on file was correct, that I was schedule to arrive last night as part of the block) that things finally started to move forward. It looks like I am finally about to be moved into the room I should have been in all along. It sounds to me like the right person at the corporate level got wind of this, and pushed the hotel staff to do the right thing and move me to a room that was probably availble the whole time! So I guess the moral of the story is: Service at this particlar hotel - as poor as can be; service at the corporate level - actually pretty good.

1 week stay @Adams Mark
By Marc, 08/24/07
Staff was excellent , room was quiet & clean , parking was $7 per day but covered and secure , breakfast buffet was very tasty and generous. Well maintained indoor pool. Location was central to everything - had a wonderful time. Sadly all the Adams Mark hotels have been sold including this one - I doubt that the rate of $99.00 per night will stay after Westin acquires this one. If you are going to Buffalo and have a chance to make a reservation before the transition do so - we really had a good time.

Sleepless
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/14/07
When I first booked the room I requested a "quiet" room.Later that evening I discovered that my room was over top the hotel bar and a very loud band.At 10:00PM I requested another room but was told that the hotel was fully booked. They promised to call if there was a cancellation.I was assured that the music was ending at midnight. At 1:30AM I called and was told that the band had a contract to play until 2:00AM.At 2:00AM the music mercifully ended. The customer is just a credit card at this place.
