Room was rundown. The ceiling over the airconditioner was filthy. The bedspread in a non-smoking room had a large cigarette burn. The whole hotel seems depressed. We stayed here before and it seems to have rapidly gone downhill since we first stayed there. Didn't feel safe with the doors opening out to a dark parking area. We parked in front and even then worried about the area. We won't be back. There are better, safer choices on Cerritos that don't cost much more.

Good Service Bad Area

Folks at the front desk were nice, rates were good, restaurant awesome, views from the back upper rooms were great. BUT and this is a BIG BUT if you park in the back there is no security and the back of this hotel is in a bad part of town for car safety, not yours. Some real pros broke into my car and stole my stereo. There is a sign that says they are not responsible so oh well. Park in front and walk the long hallway to the back.

Our room was clean but front desk staff was very unhelpful and not friendly. The breakfast is at the adjoining restuarant and when we were there we encountered the one and only waitress creating a scene with a customer. If my husband or I would have been this lady we would have walked out. We did not stay here on our return trip back through the area.

Location to other amenities & price

Just got back from our trip. It is well worth the price. The Plaza Cafe is within Quality Inn, so if you missed dessert earlier after eating at the Plaza Cafe at the Main Plaza off near all the tourist stores you can step out and enjoy their delicious sopapillas or coconut cream pie that evening in your room. It's open till 9pm. It is close to a WalMart and a Wells Fargo ATM, By the way the complimentary breakfast is free from the Plaza cafe next door. Humm!

Best Hotel in Santa Fe

This place should be holiday inn or something better... it has everyting you just need.. great breakfast, workout room, pool, computers with a great rate. Also has restaurant Plaza cafe & lounge.

Won't stay there again!

This is obviously an older hotel which is no problem - but our room was a fright. The TV picture was awful (the problem was the set not the reception), the shower pull on the tub was broken, the fan in the bathroom didn't work, the stairwell was dark and the carpet on the stairs in disrepair and the security door from the parking area to the building did not secure upon closing. Will not stay there again. There are too many other nice hotels nearby. Definitely over paid for the accomodations.

Avoid this Hotel

The staff at this hotel is very unfriendly. We were awakened each of the three nights that we were there by the guests in the next room. Their children were screaming and playing outside from midnight to three in the morning. The parents were screaming at each other and the kids. Management did nothing despite a complete satisfaction guarantee. I would never go to this hotel again.

The room was filthy. The carper was as bad as I have ever seen in any hotel. Scheduled for two nights, left after one and checked into the La Quinta down the street.

Run of the mill motel.

This is a regular Quality Inn.... nothing special. Nothing bad really, just nothing special. I don't see why it's rated #4 in Santa Fe? It's location is " budget" oriented off Cerrillos Rd (next to several other chain budget motels). Rooms look like any other Quality Inn- whether in Des Moines Iowa or Tyler Texas.

Overnight stay - Fair

The Inn is in an easy to find location. First impression was ok. Room was spacious, but well used. There was a sink on a small counter top like a suite, and a microwave in the bathroom Rugs look dirty, spotted and stained. TV remote had a piece of tape holding the battery in. Everything else was ok. There is a restaurant attached to the Inn, and they give you a coupon for a hot breakfast instead of the continental fare. There is also a lounge. A lot on the parking lot on one side was taken, and vehicles coming and going, late into the evening. Price was fair, but I would not stay there again. Does not compare to other Quality Inns that I have stayed at.
