Motel 7, Clovis

We recently stayed at motel7 manager was very friendly we got nice and clean room service is good too.good place to stay for night or week with family. if we pass through Clovis, NM again, we will definitely come back here.

i recently visited in clovis and stayed at motel7 for 1week . manager in front desk was realy nice helpfull and friendly. they gave us very nice room (105) it was very clean room and price was good it was in my budget. everyday service was good. very good and safe place to stay with family. even have wi fi. i will come back to stay here again. i like this place.thank you very much to manager for all your help.

i payed for a whole week in advance... came in first day and even tho room appeared clea, restroom had trash on the floor as it they have not swept. second day i walked in, room had not been clean, beds werent done and had no towels, after going down to let them know, they apollogized and brought up towels but did not clean. came in 3rd day and noticed a small puddle coming from the toilet, i took a shower and came out to find about a gallon of water on the floor, i let the front know and they promised to send somebody to fix it, an hour later and about 3 gallons of water i once again talked to the front and explained that the water was on the carpet. finally maintenance man came in, looked at it and rudely said it was the shower water. i went back down and asked to be moved to another room, guy at front tells me that he only has 6 rooms and cant give me another one because those rooms will be taken before the night is over. i asked for my money back to go somewhere else and was told that nothing is wrong with the room so he cant give my money. when i told him that when i pay for a good room, i expect a good room. he said he'd call the owner to see if we can get another room and he'd call me in 10 minutes.... its been close to an hour and no call. ILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN AND HOPE NOBODY ELSE DOES EITHER

After trying to make reservations online, everyone was booked, I called Motel 7 and spoke with Bunty, the manager and told him what I was looking for and that I also had 2 small dogs, he got my name and told me the price and said that he would hold a room for me for 2 nights. We arrived the next afternoon and when I went to check in suddenly the price changed to a higher amount, after arguing with him, I told him no, that we'll go somewhere else and we did and had GREAT service there. Bottom line is, stay somewhere else because they will only try to change what they told you the price was once you get there! BOO BOO BOO, bad business!!!!

I have stayed at this motel several times, it wasn't always perfect, one time I hd to go back and get new key card becasue the one I had wasn't working. Once the TV was set to Soanish and couldn't figure out how to change it back to English. The rooms have always been clean and the price is reasonable. And the staff was always very nice.

This was the most discusting place I have ever stayed at. The first room we were given was according to house keeping just cleaned....we got in and it was full of flys, the shower had stuff growing in it, the carpets look like someone had puked on them....tv did not work nor the air. The moved us to another room which still had wet carpets and was in no better shape...i know this is a very old motel but it was nasty.....i tried to get a hold of the own who was is austin at the time but have never heard back from him....also called and talked to the manager...yes they were friendly and apologtic but did not resolve anything....i have been by there several times since....they have paint the outside of the building but what about the gross nasty room....yuck yuck yuck....

Holy Cow, when I read the previous three reviews I was ready to save some money and expected a budget no-frills motel. What we got was a filthy room (carpet, shower, etc). I killed six flies and still am being buzzed as I typed this out. There were some dog food nuggets on the floor as well as empty water bottles under the bed, oh and an old blue woman's hair band (scrunchy) was left there too. The sheets appeared to have been left from the last clients since we saw hair on the sheets, and one pillow lacked a pillow case, and another had makeup smeared on it. Gimme a break! This place deserved a crappy rating, and I hope the health inspector takes note.

The girl at the front desk (Stephanie) was fast effective and friendly. I also thought the housekeeper was fantastic! It is an older hotel but you can tell the owner does his best to make sure the rooms smell fresh and clean. I will be back next week for sure.

Normally I wouldn't write a review, but I have to say that the staff at Motel 7 is so nice and friendly it was almost overwhelming. The rates are very low and while the property is old the rooms were very clean and I actually felt safe.
