Gallup Inn, Gallup

Only thing. the hot tub has a strong intake at the bottom, seems a tad dangerous.

this hotel use to be very nice when it use to be the holiday inn/the inn of gallup.I use to have many meetings over there and i was pleased. I came back april 2010 for a meeting and i also stayed there.it was nothing like before expexct that the rooms where very well mainted.the rooms where very dirty...house keeping seriously sucks!There was no tolet paper,no soap,and no coffee!The meeting would have been a distater if it werent for the person who sets up the rooms.He really helped us set up the meeting rooms the way we want it beacause before the room was not set up right thanks to the person who plans room wrong.By the way the manger is very Rude!!she screams at her works as if she dont have respect for the clients who are there watching.over all the wirlpool and the whole swimming pool area is very fun and clean. the pool looks great..way more better then before.i think the pool was the best part of staying at this hotel

Just finished a large 200 person conference in Gallup, NM in November, staff returned phone calls. Worked with me as much as possible to get last minute conference going. Will forever be greatful. Staff is fun to work with, the manager is excellent.

i recently stayed at The Inn of Gallup for the second time in two years. Last i was there was begining of last year 2008, And in this past stay June of 2009, i have noticed a drastic change. The hotel is cleaner, the services is great, the pool has been redone and rooms are a lot cleaner. I was hesitant to go back but i am glad i did and would go back again.

I love this hotel!!!it is very big and clean.I cant wait to go back!!!The workers there are very nice.The Gallup in is a wonderful place to make parties They have huge metting rooms.A very nice swimming pool and sauna!!

Bed bugs in Room 30. I don't know what else to say. On the surface it seemed nice enough. The pool was nice. But . . . bed bugs UGH! Nuff' said!!

We chose this place to have our wedding reception and a few weeks later it became the Inn of Gallup. When it was Holiday Inn the events coordinator was professional and coutious getting back to us by phone or email promptly but when it became the Inn the Gallup the new Events person was always nowhere to be found, never responded to phone mesaages or emails. What is worse is that we paid $500 to reserve the date and they didn't even know that the date was taken by our wedding party! After trying our best to work with the staff we complained to the manager and he was unpleasant and very rude. We wanted to work with them to order the menu for the reception but they would not budge with certain food items we needed for certain guests. After a few days the Events Coordinator called us and left a message saying they did not want our Event held at the Inn. To make matters worse they told us to find another venue for our reception ONE month before we were to be married! They are very unprofessional and in my opinion the only reason why they continue to get business is because there is not too many places in Gallup, NM that can hold huge caterred events.

We stayed here because every other hotel in town was full of rodeo people! This used to be a Holiday Inn and was probably gorgeous in it's day. But it has obviously been neglected and needs work. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The free breakfast buffet was nice, with lots of hot selections, but the restaurant was not very clean (a filthy stained tablecloth that should have been trashed covered the cereal table!). The room was large enough for two; the bed fairly comfortable; but the A/C didn't work very well. We stayed on the 2nd floor and as far as I could tell, there are no elevators. The hallways are dark and spooky, and the carpeting needs to be replaced (or at least vacuumed) in the worst way.

I made the mistake of renting one of their conference rooms for a 2-day company event. I signed faxed copies of the preliminary paperwork and waited for the final contract to arrive. Weeks went by in which I repeatedly attempted to have the sales staff fax the final paperwork. I got the run around until 2 days before the event was to occur. (This was a little nerve wracking considering that the flyers had already gone out advertising the Inn at Gallup as the meeting place). Once we arrived, I realized that they had switched us out into a much smaller room than I had originally signed up for and no-one could tell me the final word on how many catered meals would be available at lunchtime. I mentioned all of this to the manager whose only response was to direct me back to the unresponsive sales person who later approached me with some hostility. She promised that although we would not be moved into the appropriately sized room, she would work to re-arrange our cramped room to our original specifications for the following day. We came back the following day to find that nothing had changed. We made the cramped room work but overall, it was not an experience that I care to repeat.

It was a decent place to stay for a couple of days.Any longer than that appears to be an imposition on the staff!!!Breakfast was not very good! The employees were fairly nice and very helpful!
