Best Western Hilltop House Hotel, Los Alamos

Will definitely be staying here again. Front desk clerk was AWESOME!!! she was very friendly and even called my room after i checked in to make sure I found everything and and was comfortable.. Rooms clean and the bed was very comfortable.

From the website and reviews we read, my husband and I were excited for our stay at Hilltop. Upon arrival we disliked the layout immediately as the set of elevators we were directed to didn't even lead to hotel rooms. When we found our room it didn't have a working internet connection. They moved us to another room (the following day!) and that also had no internet service. Plus that room's bathtub wouldn't keep water long enough for our kids to have a bath. We were very unhappy when they're laundry facilities "ate" one of our shirts. Even though they claim to be the only hotel in town with a heated, indoor pool that is false advertising for two reasons. The Holiday Inn (also on Trinity) has an indoor heated pool and hot tub. Plus, their pool is actually in the hotel, not the parking lot, like Best Western. We had so looked forward to our stay but after one night we were so grateful to leave!

We stayed in this hotel while visiting our son over the 4th of July Holiday weekend. I was impressed with the friendle staff. The bed was very comfortable, comp breakfast was great. I would like to thank the hotel for making our trip to Los Alamos very pleasant. We will be back soon.
