Golden Nugget Atlantic City, Atlantic City

My wife and I are premium players. I play bj 500 per hand and craps and she plays vp 1-5. 50k credit line. Avg bet at other casinos 700 a hand with over 250 k coin in when playing vp. The golden nugget in Atlantic city said our action is not enough for them?... Guess they want lower action drunk kids who puke in the hallways...... If they can't send a car to new York city.... They need a reality check. Their renovation will get the kids in. If my 30k swings are not good enough for a RFB... REAL players beware!!

This hotel was awesome. Although rather expensive... the rooms were beautiful and the pool area was always a good time. Drinks are $11+ which was absurd especially if they want people to gamble. The hotel was beautiful but we were very dissapointed with the surrounding area (beach & boardwalk) Golden nugget was actually at an advantage because it was no where near the boardwalk or other major casinos. That area was dirty with people begging for quarters to go gamble... trash everywhere.. abandoned buildings. Not a place to take the kids for sure. I would save your money and go to a equally nice hotel with a better NOT STINKY beach (not one with the water line going straight through the sand) and a nicer boardwalk where you can feel safe. Um such as Ocean city, maryland!!!!!!!

If you are thinking about staying here, please think again. The hotel is under complete renovation, so unless you do not mind being woken up at 7 am by drilling in the rooms above you, you might want to reconsider staying elsewhere. To make matters worse, the heat was not working in the rooms (although it was around 30 degrees outside), and the restaurant staff and service was substandard. Although the restaurant (called Michael Patrick's Brasserie) only had a few customers in it for lunch, it took about 45 minutes for our food-- which consisted of a burger and BLT wrap-- to come out. Together, between the unsatisfactory service and irritating matters due to the renovation, I will certainly not return this hotel ever again.

i get a room comp they want to sell it to customers who were coming down for the david mathews concert. I get my room free but i gamble close to @ 2000 dollars while not paying for room and lost it there. Im not there for no concert and im a devoted customer since the 1980 s when it was call trump castle hello . People in town might pay 200 or 300 for my room and dont gamble as much. Or dont gamble at all. They should satisfy their customers patrons not people only looking for a room to see a concert in town no where near casino. They lost a customer of 31 years plus. Good luck golden nugget i was with a party of 6 and you lost them also.

EVERYTIME ME AND MY BOYFRIEND STAYED THERE WE WERE ALWAYS TREATED LIKE CELEBRITIES EVERYONE IS ALWAYS PLEASANT AND HELPFUL. WE ARE BOTH SORRY TO SEE IT CHANGE TO GOLDEN NUGGET. WE BOTH HAVE VERY GOOD MEMORIES THERE.

From the time we entered the door to the time we left it was an horrible experience. The hotel room that I prepaid for was no longer available (no credit or discount offered or given after requested). There is a hidden security hold on your card that they seem to have an issue explaining what it is for. The room was wet from all of the rain leaking from the ceiling and through the windows. I had to call security due to a party being held in the hallway and someone making several attempts to get in the room. Suprisingly no one showed up nor called back to see if we were okay. Although this is a lot it is minor compared to the lack of respect that we received. When I went to check out and list my complaints. There were three couples in front of us in which the first being an african american couple as well. The receptionist treated them as though they were a nuisance and clearly showed that they were not valued as potential customers. The next two couples were treated extremely well. Listening to how well the receptionist assisted them made me feel as though maybe I was in a different hotel. Next comes me. With all of the valid concerns that I had I was treated like trash. The manager Joe Dillagio (I know the spelling is off) was very rude and come off as if I was wasting his time. When asking how he was going to resolve the issue. He simple ask well what do you want me to do about it. Wow Mr. Trump as you say you are alright with the "Blacks" but clearly your staff is not.

it was fun the room was grate the beds are a litel dirty but it is good

1. Mold on bathroom ceiling. 2. Rust running from hand grip in bathroom. 3. Small Closet with door off the runner. 4. Except for the room, smoke smelling hallway and Casino, even in non smoking areas. 5. Flush not all that clean etc

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Trump Marina a handful of times, most of the time the rooms were average.. We got introduced to a wonderful host that treated us very well. To make a long story short... We only went back to this disgusting hotel/casino because this host gave us suites at times, and the borgata was getting old.. Our last two stays at the marina were no good. One suite had dead and alive bugs in the corners of the rooms.. mold and dirty sheets, hair in showers, ect.. Last week was the worst. I stepped on shattered glass, (housekeeping must not vacuum well-if at all) i got food poisoning from an undercooked burger, the sheets were stained and disgusting, and the rack that covers the air conditioner, literally fell ON me as i went to open the drapes! which i later saw was because it was NOT SCREWED INTO THE WALL! I found that out because i stepped on these screws and nails! at the end of our god awful stay.. we found out where the glass came from. From the window that was broken and covered with masking tape, and HIDDEN behind the drapes! the glass looked like ice cubes! god forbid a CHILD was to pick them up and put the piles of ice cube sized glass into their mouth!? i cant even begin to imagine.. After all this happened, We filed a complaint to "security" and we were told it would go to "risk management".. They gave us a FAKE e-mail address, we have yet to hear back from anyone, and now are looking to press charges. We took pictures of EVERY SINGLE detail! This is the first time we have ever had problems with a hotel or casino.. we dont complain about petty things, but this... is not petty.. We are making sure that EVERYBODY knows about this, and hopefully the "hotel" staff and managers will get up off their lazy asses and CLEAN these rooms, Make them SAFE! I hope whomever reads this will trust what I have written, because its unsafe for both children and adults. excuse me if im wrong, but am i the ONLY person that thinks its a bit strange to HAVE to search around a hotel room and make sure the lazy staff has done their job? like vacuum? HIDING BUGS AND GLASS IN DIFFERENT PLACES OF THE ROOM DOES NOT DEFINE "CLEANING" IT IS NEGLIGENCE AND LAZINESS- AND UNSAFE!! DO NOT GO TO THIS SMALL, DISGUSTING, MOLDY, OLD "HOTEL" OR ITS "CASINO"!!! TRUST ME! NO GOOD WILL COME OUT OF IT!

This hotel is the best in Atlantic City! The rooms are great and very clean. The staff was the most friendly of all the staff in any hotel in AC. The casino is very large and spacious.I would recommend this hotel to just about anyone. My son also loved the food and arcade. I've stayed in 3 hotels in AC and now I'll always stay at the Trump Marina!!
