Not too bad but won't stay there again
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/20/09
The buffet breakfast was horrible, the wait staff and the registration desk staff are rude and their curb appeal is lacking. Although the rooms were clean and the staff @ Boogie nights and a couple bar barenter's in the Casino were friendly and provided good customer service. I will not be returning to the Resorts.

A Horrible Hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/15/08
My wife & I stayed in the Ocean Tower this past weekend. I wish I had read the reviews here before booking my room. The room was like stepping back in time to the 70's. The condition of everything was at best POOR. The carpet was stained & frayed, the mattress was beyond bad, the bathroom was not clean and was extremely dated. The furniture loked as if it was taken out of a dumpster. I cannot believe what horrible condition this hotel is in. The hallway was filthy. I immediately complained to the manager who did not give a damn. We stayed the 2 nights as I had already paid for them, but would never go back under any circumstances. BEWARE!

Very Disappointed!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/24/08
We just stayed in the Ocean Tower for 3 nights. The room was quite large but had not seen a facelift in decades. The bathrooms (there were two) were original from 1978, in desperate need of updating. The mattress was in horrible condition, the room furniture was worse than what you would expect to find in a thrift store. The carpet was stained. This hotel needs a complete renovation. The basic necessities were not even provided. The was no hair blower, no extra pillows, etc. I will never stay here again. The casino was nice, but so are all of the casinos in AC. There is another newer tower which perhaps might be better, but the Ocean Tower was like staying in a Motel 6 at best.

nice but needs help
By AdamB, 07/20/08
The hotel itself is really great but the room could have been nicer. The t.v. was really annoying, there needs to be a bigger table, and the bathroom needs a vanity. Also, the bathroom walls should have been cleaner. The walls in the room showed apparent dust and the carpet needs to be cleaned. Services were fine. Hotel lobby and halls were very clean.

An absolute disgrace to the service industry.
By Unimpressed - NY, 05/13/08
The Ocean Tower Jacuzzi Suite was booked @ $450 for one night which we did not mind paying...all we wanted to do was relax. Upon arrival, our room was not ready at 8pm, person at front desk did not care about this fact nor us the customer. Room was still not ready at 10pm & a manager eventually moved us to another room. When we asked was this the Jacuzzi Suite too, we were told that the Jacuzzi suite was unavailable!! Why were we able to book the Jacuzzi suite if it was unavailable.Yet they were still going to charge us $450 for the room & hope for the best that we would not notice the lack of Jacuzzi!!! The room that we finally got into at 10.30pm was not cleaned from previous guest, when I spoke to front desk...rudeness was not the word to describe her attitude. I was transferred to Housekeeping in order to get the room which we were paying for cleaned. It was beyod belief the lack of service & complete lack of interest from the staff. It was well after 11pm when housekeeping left. The room was far from luxurious...a fold down bed in this day & age...come on. We were offered compliemntary breakfast but it didn't look anyway appetizing so we went to the Tropicana & enjoyed a lovely breakfast & 4 hrs in their casino. This hotel has no idea of customer service & is by far the worst hotel I've ever been to. They completely ruined our weekend.

They should have paid us!!
By power stroke, 03/29/08
Check in took over 1 hour on a week day, room was dirty, large stains on carpet, clogged tub, noisy rattling windows and very loud squeeky door. Bed was like sleeping on the floor, Not enough towels in bath room. Bell service refused to take our bags to the room and was very rude. The same Piles of dirty dishes and pizza boxes left in hallways were there for all three days of our stay. I'm pretty sure we would have been more comfortable sleeping in our car.

Love It
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/19/07
I love the Resorts in AC. It is the only place I stay and play...Slots are loose, food is awesome and the rooms are fantastic. I have been going there for years and never have any complaints. Plus they really know how to treat their loyal customers.

RESORTS RULES!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/05/06
I love Resorts and the staff so much that I go there at least once a month for the past 2 years. It's so easy to get comped, the rooms are clean, although I do prefer the Rendevous tower over the Ocean tower. But, either way I am happy. I always order my breakfast in the room and never was disappointed. The staff at the front desk, the casino staff, the room service, housekeeping etc. are all very friendly and willing to please you. I don't believe any of the negative remarks I read. My friends and family love Resorts and are very happy with the buffets, the free gifts, the free cash and slot cash, room comps, shows, etc. For those of you who complain, I can only say, give it another try!
