Pan American Hotel, Wildwood Crest

Nice clean rooms, basketball court with games at night. Pool fun and comfy and clean. Boardwalk conveniently close and bike rental and playground next door. A little pricy especially the restaurant but definitely worth it! Beach is amazing and water is great... Love going every year! Hate to leave!

I spent a wasted week at this place. Horrible. I was with my family and was completely embarased that I took them here. Too much to say in this one review but what I will say is that word of mouth is THE best advertisement. I'll be using my mouth for a long time now regarding my experience here. No bathroom 'room', broken icemaker, snotty staff(Greg, I think. He never looked at me when I asked him a question or tried to be friendly. As a matter of fact when I saw him performing another duty I made little conversation and said 'hey you do it all round here'. He had nothing to say but 'why not'. What kind of answer is that?. We are the customer and should be treated with friendliness when the customer goes out of their way to make conversation!. Grrr.). Cable was out. Gee, I talked to other hotels in on the islands and they said it was already switched over to cable channels. UNheated pool--I picked it specifically for the pool, advertised as 'heated'. Just a general all around poor experience. Dirtier than I expected for a 'resort'. The management and staff really need to get their stuff together. Not to mention guys, don't you think the complimentary(gee thanks) coffee should be put out at 9am rather than 9pm??? I know this "Morey" person is very powerful in the Wildwoods and he probably won't care about anything I have to say. But others will care, believe me!

Searched numerous hotels on line for a short (3 day) vacation before deciding on this one. So glad I did, the Pan American is great! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our room was very clean, comfortable and modern. The pool area was very clean with plenty of seating for everyone. Hotel is located right at the beach and only a short distance to boardwalk. I would definitely recommend this hotel. It is well worth the money

stayed 4 days. loud humming noise per management a noisy "pump" and couldn't get another room. noise was incessant day/night. restaurant that had been good a couple of years ago was at best fair.

This was a great place to stay right near the beach also very clean.I will recommend this place to others. We also ate at the restaurant which was good too.

Great Hotel...started staying there 5 years ago after our old Do-Wop era motel was raised for condos. Just note however, you are not staying there unless you book a year in advance...and you will be paying 3X the $87 rate posted on this tourist site.

The hotel was great, rooms a little small, but nicely decorated. Very clean and nice pool area, only a few blocks from the boardwalk. Bad service from the management in the restaurant, but not the same as the hotel management. The hotel was A++++++, stay away from the restaurant.

i love this hotel..so close to the beach. u can walk!! lots of things to do and see.. restraunts, shops, a night out, everythingg..!! have fun!

in the pan american hotel you will be treated like a costemer. the pool was great and the rooms were like fabulous.My kids say they want to come back next year and that's waht we'll do

We've been going to the Pan Am for more than 30 years, and I have not seen a place I'd rather stay in Wildwood. Just one problem: the motel is constantly booked in season, crowded with families, and some rooms start to look and feel shabby before they are done over. The lobby, pool, restaurant and halls are always clean and beautiful, and so are most of the rooms most of the time. Some nights are disrupted by rowdiness around the pool. If there's something you don't like, it helps to speak up. The staff tries hard.
