Jolly Roger Motel, Wildwood Crest

would never reccomend this hotel to any one...not clean stains on bed on floor ..a/c not worth a crap...would have rather slept in my truck...waited in lobby for 20 minutes till the guy decided to answer the bell i rang 10 times...would not even let my pets sleep in this dive....and way over priced 180 a night....

Booked this online and was pleasantly surprised. The place was clean and family oriented. One hotel away from the beach. Could use a little update but since you only sleep and shower we were very happy

I went to Wildwood for Bike week, I had a great time at the motel the rooms were very nice and clean pool was heated nice for night swim and the motel is very close to the beach and other amusement like boardwalk also good food. And I have a story I left my GPS and other goods I brought there and the motel shipped it to me no charge I give the Motel 5 stars will stay again.

I like the location, the staff, the room was comfortable, and the fact that I could bring my favorite vcr videos and play them while in bed. The first stay was in july . which was a getaway with my adult son and one of my girlfriends. We enjoyed ourselves, doing what each one of liked to do in wildwood and had no complaints. I only wish that I could have enjoyed that 1st floor balcony on the street side. There was absolutley no privacy on the balcony because it was literally on the sidewalk. Other than that, I loved being there and rebooked to bring back my hubbie for our anniversary getaway in sept. This time we had a different room, but had a great time and view of ocean as well. We met families from diffrent places and shared a bottle of wine together and just rested and had a good time. This place had the ability to fulfill all my needs on both visits.

Room clean but old. Refrig and microwave nice addition as it balcony. Pool hours while we were there were not adequate. Internet access was non-existent in room and barely existent when out on balcony. Close to beach and boardwalk but I will look at another hotel next time as I need reliable internet access and want to be able to use pool in evening.

We stayed here for the first time over the Memorial Day weekend. The room was very clean as was the pool area. The staff was very friendly. Having vacationed in Wild Woood Crest for nearly 40 years, I found this motel to be very nice. Remember, this is a motel, not hotel. One of the reviews on another site stated that they were shocked that there was not a hair dryer or shampoo available. Again, this is a motel, and anyone familiar with vacationing in this area will know that none of these motels offer this. I am looking forward to returning in September.

We checked in on Thursday afternoon, no problems, room was alright for the price, (nothing fancy) Friday morning while blowdrying my hair (under an open window) in just my undies, a man opened my locked door, with a universal key - I screamed - he stood there then closed the door - I immediatly called the front desk & reported what happened. My husband then went downstairs and was told that the man was a sub-contracter there to install flooring in another room, he was showed a list of rooms the man was told were occupied, which our room # was included. My husband was very upset, and was issued a full refund - with which we had to move my family across the street to the Port Royal (which was WAY nicer for just a few dollars more)....I was creeped out, to say the least, that a strange man had walked into my room, where I would expect to have enough privacy to be comfortable.....I should have contacted the local police, but that thought didn't occur to me until a day or two later,(my thought: who's to say that this 'sub-contractor' isn't famous for this and may have been reported before?) I would never stay here again, esp with my 7 yr old daughter...just not an enviroment that was comfortable, in any way....we did go to the Port Royal, which was AMAZING, and I highly recommend that Hotel

There were little red fire ants ALL OVER the balcony. Room service sucked. They need to either close the place down, or give me a match and a little gas and ill burn it down and save EVERYONE.

this place was great for every one we had a great time at the pool and water park and it was right near the beach and every one loved the red sky cafe

My family of 5 stayed there week of 9-4-7. My kids loved the place. Good pool & good kiddie pool . Little cafe was convienient. Staff was nice although I thought that the wake up call reminding us the check out time was a little rude. Arcade was a plus, so were the grills, as well as the effiency room. The beach was nicer at the crest as well. I didnt like driving to the boardwalk and paying $ 10.00 everytime. However I would stay there again as long as I went with my kids.
