Lunch at the Lambertville Station
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/08/08
For nearly 15 years now my Navy Buddy Dean Staats and I along with our wives arranged to have lunch at the Lambertville Station. Most of the time we sat up in the far corner and spent the entire afternoon talking. We always enjoyed the food and the service. This fall I was trying to make arrangements to meet with Dean only to find out that he had a stroke. He is making progress but it will be a while before he will be able to travel. They come from New Town Square in PA and we come from Little Falls, NJ. I am hoping that we can get together before the holidays. Thanks for your understanding and we always look forward to an afternoon at the Station. Regards, Cliff Swisher

Maybe it has been rennovated
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/27/08
When I visited, I was so disappointed that I literally checked out. The rooms smelled musty and the furnishings were an odd collection of "antiques", meaning used furniture. They have a lovely location and I hope they have made major improvements to do it justice.

above the rest
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/26/08
I stayed at this location over 5 years ago. I unexpectadly recently returned and found this hotel very comforting. I travel extensively around the US in mostly Hilton and Marriott proporties. This hotel was a pleasant break from from the chains. Does the room decor need modernizing; yes (mostly just wallpaper & carpeting). But the riverfront location and the lobby cozyness & honor bar were a welcome change. I passed on the local chains and points for a one night stay here, and ended up extending my trip because I was so relaxed. Walk to the adjacent restaraunt and have a great meal with no hassel of driving. I will come back for more R&R.

Poor reservations
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/20/07
I tried booking a reservation for a large group and was told that the rate per person would be higher by 20% because of the large size! (The stated reason was that chairs would have to be moved around.) I had tried reaching a person about reservations for several days and had left a message and did not receive any call back until after many days of repeatedly calling to reach someone. Apparently my business was not welcome.

Dissappointment
By Scrumptious, 07/21/07
My friends recommended this place because they married there and it is one of the few places with enough rooms to accomodate large parties in the heart of the Lambertville/New Hope district. The rooms are large, with spartan furnishings (only one chair in my room for two guests). The staff is less than friendly. Don't order early room service breakfast -- at least not too early. We tried to get some coffee delivered by 7am (left the "tag" on the door) but were suprised to learn they don't do room service until later in the morning. We learned that at 7:30am when we asked where the coffee was. They have ample parking (don't forget to ask for a guest parking tag, or you'll get charged to park -- or be towed). They are located right on the Delaware River directly across from New Hope, PA. That warrants giving them 3 stars. Otherwise, they'd only get 1 and a half.

It just keeps getting better
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/28/06
This was not our first stay at the Inn. We have been comming for years. Over the past year the improvements have been great. New beds and bedding, beautiful new bathrooms and newly renovated lobby and the area with the big cozy fire place.

Absolutely LOVED it!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/09/06
I just spent my first getaway at the Inn and I can tell you I will be back!! It has such a relaxing ambience. Being right on the Delaware River gives amazing views. The rooms are so cozy and the beds are incredibly comfortable. Food at the restaurant is creative and delicious - (I had a Ahi Tuna that was the best I've ever had). My husband had a Buffalo Tenderloin steak that was terrific. If you're looking for something different to do, go to the Inn at Lambertville Station. It's a really wonderful experience!

50th Birthday Celeb
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/19/06
The last time I was here was for my cousin's wedding about 15 years ago. We got a week-end escape, and while pricey, it was nice to get a continental breakfast in bed. We also had Mimosa's delievered to the room, and they were right on time. I really enjoyed our time there. The food in the resturant was delic, as was snacks we enjoyed in the Pub. Yes I would love to go back again.
