You get what you pay for

When we checked into the room at 1:00 a.m., my husband went to use the bathroom, flushed it and it overflowed like Old Faithful! The front desk attendant was very friendly and switched us to another room immediately. The people who worked there were always friendly and accomodating and the continental breakfast was pretty good (cereal, bagels, apples, donuts, mini-muffins, juice and coffee), they had microwave in the lobby of the hotel, a very small coffee maker in the room and the iron didn't work, but we had brought our own. The hotel is older, in need of fresh paint, carpet cleaning as you could see a lot of stains, and there was a smell to the place. Didn't see any bugs, so that was a plus! The pool was closed and it looks like they are maybe doing renovations, didn't bother to ask. There is a new Chinese place that opened up adjacent to the hotel, very good! Again, you get what you pay for!!
