The Forum Motor Inn, Ocean City

Charged for an extra day...double billing! We were charged for four days and were there for three. We were not allowed to check in until 2:00pm but was charged for the entire day. When we checked out before noon, we were again charged for the entire day...$251.00. The people who checked into the room we occupied were also charged $251.00 for the SAME day. So the motel made $502.00. Double billing.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Rooms were clean and comfortable....1 block from the beach and boardwalk and evenly between both kiddie piers...This is now a yearly tradition for my family!!!!

As I read through these reviews I can't believe that some people actually say they would never stay here again. To me that's insane!!! My parents have been going here for over 20 STRAIGHT years and i've been going for 16 straight years and I would pick no other hotel in Ocean City. The service is unbelieveable the room is spotless and smells great. When you check in, the front desk is so nice and the impressive thing is that they remeber you. Whenever my family checks in they always are so excited to see us and greet us by name. To me, that shows they care about their customers. The pool is nice and refreshing and the baby pool is great for small kids. It's just a block away from the beach and the boardwalk and right across the street from the best ice cream parlor i've ever been to "Hobby Horse." i recommend that to anyone who likes ice cream. The beds are very comfortable and there is a nice tv in every room. I've been going here every year since I was born and i can't wait to go again this year. Don't listen to the bad reviews, if you are looking for a great family place to stay, definitely choose the FORUM!!!!

Now we've read the negative comments for this hotel,but from my point of view those comments are wrong.The hotel is very clean and the workers are very nice.The people at the front desk and always greet you with a smile. Even when you're like us and have been going for about 20 years now, when we walk in we greeted by our name.Anytime we need something we ask for we have it in a flash.The hotel rooms are perfect for a getaway, a little out dated but has that home feeling.The room has very clean bathrooms and newly changed sheets, daily!Everyday a maid would come in and clean unless otherwise notified. The cafe is very clean with nice service. The prices are reasonable and the food is delicious.If you haven't tasted the chocolate milk yet...it's LEGIT :D! We will always go back regaurdless of one bad time of service...it's once don't give them grief.The pool is very clean and spacious. The baby pool is seperate from the big pool.It's 2 blocks from the boardwalk and beach. We enjoy the walk to and from the boards.We will always go back no matter what.It's what we call a home away from home.I have proved all negative comments wrong.Hopefully you will go and enjoy your stay like us(:

My family and I stayed during Labor Day week, (even though there was crummy weather) our family had a great time. The Forum definitely gave us our money's worth. The apartment we stayed in was spacious and clean. Good size fridge and TV/cable setup in each room. Good size bathroom also. The beach and boardwalk is not even a block and a half away. Great LOCATION. Hotel was immaculately cleaned, smelled nice and staff was very welcoming and friendly. The front desk/maid service was great. We stayed in room 402 and we couldn't find a can opener, and the gentleman at the front desk brought us a can opener when we called down to ask him if we could borrow one. He was so very nice. The Wi Fi internet set up was a nice added perk also. The coffee shop downstairs was delightful. When we were getting ready to leave, we saw that the pool was kept well and looked sparkling refreshing and clean. It was too bad we were leaving and not staying longer to take a dip in the pool. I would definitely recommend it to my friends and family. We can't wait to come back again next year.

My husband,kids and I were just there this past week.The only room available for the amount of days we were staying for was a suite.It was nicer than I expected.The room was very clean and smelled nice.The service was good.I called the office because the toilet paper was done, the girl at the front desk was very nice and brought the toilet paper to the room very quickly.The staff is very nice.My kids really enjoyed the pool.My younger one also enjoyed the baby pool.I liked that it had a separate baby pool for the little ones.After we checked in we checked out a couple of nearby hotels and found cheaper rates but were not as nice and did not have a pool.The room itself had a separate bedroom a skylight in the livingroom, and one also in the bedroom,but this was a suite and a bit more expensive than a room.I think it was worth it because we had the extra space and privacy.I would recommend this place.There is a coffee shop that offers breakfast and lunch at a 10% discount for the guests.The location was also nice.One block from the beach.I would go back again,we enjoyed ourselves.

This hotel lived up to every expectation that I had. The customer service was outstanding; morning, noon and night. The maid service was very thorough and the rooms were immaculate. The hotel also has a small coffee shop downstairs off the main lobby. The food is moderately priced and was perfect for those early morning rises when you needed a good cup of coffee. The service was very good there as well. They serve breakfast and lunch only. Each room came with a small refrigerator and microwave. Great for family with kids. We were able to keep small fruits, snacks, milk and warm up leftovers. The pool, people, and pool area were all families. The pool was immaculate. The kiddie pool was perfect for the little ones. The people at the pool were courtious and accomodating in moving seats so that families could sit together. The beach is one block away and is easy and managable to walk with little ones. The hotel does provide badges for free but you will need to leave a deposit of $20. There is also a bike shop right across the street and would welcome you to take advantage of them. They are the cheapest and friendliest too. Overall, I will be going again with our family next year. It was a wonderful experience we had in Ocean City. A+ to the hotel!

July 2010 we returned to The Forum Motor Inn--it was fantastic. This place has turned into our home away from home when we visit the shore. We had 5 adults and 4 small children with us on this trip and everyone had a wonderful time. The motel was very clean, the staff treats you like family and the pool it great. We will never stay anywhere else at the shore--when you find something great you never let it go!!

I had a good experience staying at the Forum for 3 nights. They squeezed me in at the last minute when many rooms were already taken for the summer at other places. The management and workers were pleasant and helpful to talk to. The room was extremely clean and I heard no noise at night when I was sleeping which was definitely not the case when I stayed at the OceanFront Motel last year! The pool was awesome since it was heated. It was nice to have the choice to either go to the beach or to the pool, something that you can't do at bed and breakfasts in O.C. The only things I did not like were that there was no coffee maker in the room or free coffee offered by the hotel, no hair dryer, and you had to pay 25 cents for every bucket of ice at the machine. The room is simple and nothing fancy but it really doesn't matter because you are down the shore and right in the middle of everything! I would definitely stay there again for a few days.
