I've stayed at the Northern Comfort many times over the past ten years. The staff is always pleasant. The service is great, offering fresh coffee and dounuts in the mornings. The rooms are very cozy and always clean. The heated pool is well maintained. The Northern Comfort has always been a relaxing retreat for my family & I. We can't wait to return!

What a find

We felt fortunate to have stayed here one very snowy night. It came highly recommended, was clean and the the 2 bedroom suite was quite a deal. Owners couldn't have been more accomodating.Better mattresses than most condos and motels. And skiing at The Balsams is close by!

adequate, simple, clean, good service

Ownere Jim and Lisa were extremely nice. Pool was heated and clean, kids enjoyed speading a few hours there. Rooms were clean and a nice rustic feel with the pine finish
