The bathroom was not fresh, the room stunk of air freshner and the train came by twice after midnight.

plain and simple

bed is clean and tidy, easy to sleep on, place not real fancy bathrooms could be cleaner. people were very nice and for the value, we'd stay again

Affordable, Comfortable and Friendly

This inn is so close to the Mount Washington Motorway. The location was quite scenic and is easily accessible to other scenic drives nearby. Lots of restaurants, fast food places around. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The door locks were a little creaky but still they were all clean. If you are looking for a no frills, clean place to stay, I would heavily recommend this.

Pay a little more, stay away

I disliked everything! Beds were uncomfortable. Freight train comes through at 3am. I was overcharged an extra night and the staff didn't want to pay me back. I would rather sleep in a tent on the side of the road in the middle of winter than stay there again! Let me suggest that you pay a little bit more for a better place than this. Just about any other place would be better.

Had 2nd thoughts but will return.

One year I had to change rooms twice to get one with heat, the following year the room again had no heat but the problem was fixed in a timely manner. The place is very good for convience and location. I have a favorite room at the end of the building facing the road; it has it's own large parking space...no one can park on either side of you. The bathroom and entryway prevent too much road sound from getting to the room. Cleanliness not too much of an issue. Off rate $38. Give them another chance.

NOT WHAT WE WERE TOLD!

This place is not what we expected! rooms are dirty, out of date, no amenities, old 70s style decor, mold and mildew everywhere! nothing worked, under the bed had never been vacumed, not worth staying.

I was satisifed with our stay......

I was satisfied with our stay at the Gorham Motor Inn....I think that if you're looking for a cheap place to stay for a night and your expectations aren't too high then it's a decent place. I mean really, what do you expect for $38.00 a night? I'd rather spend my $$$ on all of the other attractions that the White Mountain area has to offer. I did not feel that the rooms were dirty, just a little outdated. It's definitly a "mom & pop" kind of place. Also, they allow pets which is rare. I would really consider staying there again.
