Super 8 Carson City, Carson City

Freindly staff room was clean great Wifi and Breakfast was ok. Price was ok and will go back.

I had a nice stay, the room was nice and everything was good. To the people who say its bad you must have super high expectaions for paying a low rate, go stay at a Holiday Inn.

When I came to Carson I cheacked out a couple of places the best value and motel 6 I cheacked there rooms and they were awful then I came to Super 8 the room was great, good breakfast, and great staff. Will come back.

The rooms are pretty clean and quiet. You can't beat the price and will come back. The wifi worked well and the staff was great. The only problem is that my room occassionally smells like smoke in the evenings and mornings from the hallway, even though I have a non smoking room.

Really, people who have been writing bad reviews aren't realizing that for how inexpensive the motel is, it's very nice! The bed was properly made, the television had many channels, and bathroom essentials were well-stocked. I was asked if I needed new towels the next day, and there was an unlimited supply of good coffee. The WiFi internet was a bit on the inconsistent side, but I cannot complain. The Hattie's diner next door was also VERY cheap, not to mention delicious. The shampoo/conditioner smelled fantastic, but bring your own soap and blankets! The bottom of the toilet could have been cleaner, and the ice box leaked water, but all in all, it was fantastic for two teenagers staying about three days and two nights. I didn't have noisy neighbors, requested an upstairs room, and was taken care of well by the workers. A friendly but quiet place, even if it is in a "ghetto" looking area.

I have stayed at super 8's before and have been pleased. This hotel is a dive. The floors are so dirty that after I had walked across the carpet in my bare feet to take a shower, the water ran black from my feet when I turned the water on. The room is non smoking, however the hallway REEKS of smoke. The room is very small and dingy. I paid almost $90 per night for this room. There is a motel 6 across the parking lot that looks newer and cleaner and is half the price. Dont bother staying here. It isnt a pleasant experience.

I made a reservation a couple of weeks ahead by phone, and when I arrived in the late afternoon I was so disappointed with the motel that I immediately changed to a different one in town. I have never done this before. The motel was in such need of renovation (needing new paint, new bedding, new furniture, new carpet) that it felt seedy and dirty. I lost the $55 deposit, but I would have rather slept in my car than have stayed there. I usually happily stay at Motel 6's, but I was in Carson City for medical treatment, and I thought that the higher price of the Motel 8 would get me a nicer room for this one occasion. This might have been true for other Motel 8's, but not for the one in Carson City. I would not recommend the motel to anyone.
