VERY DISAPPOINTED
By Norma, 4/16/12
gosh! I don't know where to start..... on april 1st that was a day that we were planning on getting married,us and our best friends having fun, but that did not happen, when we got there,i thought everything was going smooth since by fiance checked us in,(which we had reserve our reservations about 2months early) and our friends, well they were upset and they moved them to the hilton. Some kind miss communication,i am assuming. Well my sweetheart and i were so excited could'nt wait for him to see the view that i requested, since he never been there, well once we got to the room ,we did'nt get the room that requested. I was like babe, this is not what i requested, he was trying to make me feel better, like it's ok, and i am like no!!! I was going to let this past, but once i got settle in and unpacked, and calm down, ...i notice alot of other things in the room.... The built in cabinet was broken, drawers did not have no doors all scratched up! And then when i went into the bathroom the shower was filled with mildew and the shower head was filled with yulk!!!!! Oh my jesus ! I told my fiance there is no way, during this time we get a phone call from our friends and they were having problems checking in,something with their credit card, we told them we had the same problem but when they swipe it again it went thru, apparently they were having compute problems..... Which that was understandable. When we walk to their room....it was a wow!! We were so impress...and i told them their room was better than ours, and we should say something about it, they went back to our room and they say i was not making this up.... So i went down and i said something and i showed them the pictures and they gave us another room, with the view.hip-hop with strip, which i requested a few months ago!!!!! during this whole time of unpacking and packing to go to another room,we did'nt get married that day. when we went to the other room, well the sink was clog up the garden tub clog up the faucets on the sink was rusty, the built in cabinet so scratched up and whomever that fixes the rooms they used a sharpie on all the scratches.did i go back down to say something? No i did'nt i was not going to spend another half a day to say something. Remember i was suppose to be getting married, and my sweetheart was enjoying his view.....we did get married the next day. will i refer someone ? No,sadly to say! when i had reserved our rooms over the phone while i am looking on line how luxuries the rooms are, down to the hip-hop with strip... I was so looking forward at the time, and now i my thoughts have changed. I figured when someone ask for 200.00 deposit you would think that they would used that money to fix up the rooms.......i did take pictures of all the things i mention. if any manager responds to me i would happy to let them know and email them the pictures.

PH (Filthy Hotel) Experience
By Sharon, 2/1/12
I am writing this review in response to a perplexing reply from PH tours corporate office & to make you aware of the unbelievable poor customer service we received at the PH Towers & unfortunately feel they are not taking the complaint seriously. We travel frequently to Las Vegas and have stayed at The Bellagio on the three previous visits. We have become accustomed to receiving top-notch customer service, but the PH Towers hotel appears to be quite the exception. We stayed at the PH Towers, for eight days from the 5th Jan 2012 to the 13th January 2012 & their housekeeping, front desk and cleanliness leave a lot to be desired. On phoning their front desk, they assured me that the room would be cleaned, bins emptied & towels replaced on numerous occasions. Upon checking at the front desk one particular evening at 9.30pm on the 11th January 2012, the same night I had phone at 8.30pm for towels to be changed in the room, which never happened. In fact, they assured me that they had a log on their screen and on our return they would have replaced the towels, unfortunately the cleaning of the room seemed to be out of the question? More than 24 hours had elapsed & the room yet again was not serviced and the towels still required changing! Astounding! The front desk said they would send housekeeping with clean towels, after I made a phone call again to them in the early hours of the morning and took no responsibility for the debacle. I also noticed that housekeeping was waiting for a tip as they delivered the towels, which felt very strange and disingenuous. Having to make numerous phone calls and also approach the front desk as the phone calls did not improve the service is unprofessional and really, quite embarrassing. Their electronic “do not disturb button” on the door was not pressed on all day and I made the phone calls and also approached the housekeeping staff on the floor on numerous occasions. I understand that people sometimes make mistakes, but the fact we made numerous phone calls to their front desk to have the room cleaned and we also pushed the housekeeping button on beside the door, we are sure the front desk was aware as they admitted to logging some calls. I’m not sure how many times housekeeping attempt to clean a room each day but I’m really shocked that no one had the awareness to wonder why the refuse bag from the kitchen and bathroom we left outside the door, did not move from its spot for two entire shifts more than 24hs. Not one person made an effort to provide that basic level of a housekeeping service to our room over a 24 hour period on a few occasions. Housekeeping is a standard hotel service – the button I assume is provided for each customer in every room. This is not some extravagant perk that is only provided to Vip guests or on request? This is a basic service which I expect from any hotel that we stay at and is essential for any customer to enjoy their stay. Filthy rooms, a layer of dust that is horrendous for people with Asthma or any respiratory ailments, my friend attended the doctor on our return and was diagnosed with respiratory infection and she had a rash and bites on her body. She was certified unable to work for a week and a half. The room was not up to our hygienic standards as we all had rashes on our bodies and bites, which, later my doctor diagnosed as bites from bed bugs and informed me to wash all the contents of our suitcases in hot water on return to my house, in case we had bed bugs came with us. Prescribed a cream for a rash on my face and I diagnosed with a stomach virus & swollen glands, which was down to the dirt in room and the filthy cups, glasses and cutlery. They have greatly disappointed us with their reply, we are not sure that PH Towers is capable of providing basic services while staying in their hotels. We believe the only fair remedy for this unfortunate situation is to provide a refund of our total price of our stay, which they have declined.

PAY A $20 TIP TO PARK OR VALET FULL! WORST VALET
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/29/11
WORST VALET SERVICE IN LAS VEGAS - REVIEW BY A LOCAL - I visited PH 3 times for meetings with my partners who were staying at the hotel. On each occasion, the valet was totally empty but refused the park the car. Each time, the exact same scenario plays. First, they state that the valet is full (ridiculous: the place was empty and it was the middle of the week), then they ask if I was a "diamond member"; then the guy openly and directly ask for a tip in order to take the car! Asking for a tip in advance of parking a car is pathetic and grotesque. It became also clear from their supervisor's attitude that this was a widely accepted practice. Shame for them, the place is empty and needs customers...we won't go back anytime soon.

Just say NO
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/20/11
Checked in at 3:30pm, our room was not ready, the check in lady was snotty/rude, got to our room, which was a very expensive suite by the way, the shower was broke, the jacuzzi was broke, the ice maker was broke, we missed going to a show and dinner waiting on things to be fixed, when repair person left, the tub was still not working, we moved to a new room, bell service never showed up to move our bags even after manager was contacted. I've never has such bad service in my life. DO NOT STAY AT PLANET HOLLYWOOD. IT IS HORRIBLE.

NEVER AGAIN!!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 4/15/11
Just stayed at Planet Hollywood for first time, have stayed at three other hotels in Las Vegas through the years with nothing bad to say about any of them, but Planet Hollywood is the bottom of the barrel. If you have a vehicle, unless you want to spend all your money tipping valets, it sucks. You have to walk a mile to get from a parking place to check in or to an elevator to get to your room. The casino is hard to get around in - no large signs like in other casinos to help you find where to go. Check in people were rude. I am so sorry I threw my money away with so many good hotels in Las Vegas that I know ar much cheaper - makes me sick. Live and learn .... and don't repeat!

No April Fools - Just Fun!
By Joanne W, 4/6/11
Not usually one to write reviews, but we had such a good time at Planet Hollywood, I just had to. I remember it from the days it was the Aladdin and they have done a pretty nice job with the casino and hotel. The hotel is a little dated and their plumbing could use an overhaul, but it is a very fun resort, easy to find your way around and the Miracle Mile shopping right out back is really fun. They also have a PF Changs at the resort which is one of my favorites. And lastly, you can't beat the location on the strip - smack in the middle and within walking distance to all the good stuff!

Please stay away from this hotel!!!
By Jerry M, 9/13/10
After nearly 35 years of travel I am writing my fist negative hotel review. Never, ever in my travels have I run into any hotel as bad as Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas. My wife and I stayed just one night and we encountered so many problems with this hotel that we said we must post this at all websites. 1. When I made the Hotel registration 2 days before my stay I told the booking agent that my wife may be checking in, not me and to add her to the Check in people. I understand they have a policy about checking in with a debit card, but when I added her name I told the reservation clerk that she would not have it and that I was allowing her to check in. None of this information was available when my wife checked in even though my wife showed the Rude male Attendant the email with the reservation. He acted like my wife was not good enough to get a room their. I am not sure where he was from, but when you insult my wife and make her upset you find yourself in a whole lot of trouble where we come from!! 2. When we finally got checked in which I talked to the manager she acted like it was not their fault they were rude to my wife and the lady at the check in desk walked away and out of my sight with my driver licenses and credit card, like it was ok for her to walk around the hotel with my personal information. Again both the receptionist and manager did just not care how they treated my wife. 3. When we got to the room we threw the bags on bed because we were so late getting check in that we almost missed one of our shows and had to rush to get into it. Whom would of thought it would of taken 1 ½ hours to get checked in to a hotel 4. When we got back to our room we found the bed was harder to sleep on than a gravel road. I mean to get any sleep my wife and I had to sleep on the pillows under us because the bed was so hard. My wife and considered sleeping in the chair but the cushion was so low our feet would have been in the air. 5. The toilet would not flush two pieces of paper down it. The toilet paper kept coming back up over and over 6. The shower had 4 streams of water coming out, I almost yanked the water head off to get some water to come out, causing us to take longer showers’ to just get clean 7. The TV would not turn on from the remote know matter what button you pushed. I tried turning on the TV from the front screen but it was dead no picture.

Woiuld not go back.
By tracy, 7/21/10
Just got back from PH and would not go back. First room the toilet bowl was broken and room smelled like smoke (and it was a non smoking room), second room the air was broken. The pictures make the hotel look a lot better than it is. The only thing good about it is the location it is right in the middle of the strip, So many nicer hotels to stay in. Go there instead.
