Took a gamble and lost...

I stayed at PH for 4 days and 3 nights recently. What a disappointment. Was looking forward to the, newly remodled' room. Upon regisitration we were asked if we wanted to 'upgrade' our room for an additional $40.00 a night. It's a vacation; never been to Vegas so sure, why not? I know the answer to that question. Because what I got for my money was not much! We stayed in a room on the 38th floor - The Basic Instinct room to be exact. On our last night there the pipes began to grind like that of Tony Hawk. We needed to get some sleep to make an early rise for our flight home the next morning. We listened to this from 2 am on. Finally, after 45 minutes of pipes grinding we informed the front desk. A 'technician' knocked on our door 20 minutes later to confirm what I already knew, "Next door is using the shower". Well thank you very much for your validation! No apology, no compensation and no status as to how they were going to rectify the situation. You call this 'newly remodled'?
I won't ever stay here again, nor would I reccomend it to poeple I don't care for. It was that bad of an experience.
OH, and to add insult to our stay, they have the nerve to offer you bottle water at $4.95! We went down the block to a store and got two bottles of water for $.97.
