The Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, a Sheraton Hotel, Las Vegas

My husband and I just got home yesterday from our very first trip to Las Vegas. I booked a package deal on Yahoo Travel for a 6 day stay/flight at the Planet Hollywood. We had a fantastic time!! I had read hundreds of reviews on hotels before choosing Planet Hollywood. We didn't find any of the complaints listed to be true for us. We walked straight up to check-in with no wait - but, we arrived a the hotel around 10:45am. There were waits for people checking in later in the day...so I would recommend arriving early even if you have to wait for your room to be ready. Ours was not ready, so Planet Hollywood locked up our luggage and we walked around the hotel and Miracle Mile mall area. The room was ready within an hour - and it was a great room. The bed was so comfortable and the linens they use feel expensive. The bathroom was huge. We could see the Bellagio fountains from our window, which was very cool. The only complaint I have - and this is not PH's fault - is the amount of construction directly across the street. There are several buildings being built and it was an eye sore and made driving/walking slow right in that area. Planet Hollywood provided us coupon books, discounts, free slot money, etc. We thought that because Vegas was so cheap to get to and stay in that we'd end up having to pay a fortune to eat and be entertained. There are lots of ways to spend money, obviously, but there were so many ways to save money offered to us, that we didn't spend a ton. There were buy one get one's, 50% off's, buying tickets the day of the show at more than 50% off, etc. If you look, there are ways to save. I wrote that we would always stay at this hotel. The reason is that after we toured nearly every other hotel in Vegas, that PH had the best well-rounded package. The rooms were great, service great, best-paying slots, prettiest staff to look at!, cheap to expensive dining options, location on the Strip, and easy parking. And the one show that you must see in Vegas? Peepshow! It was fantastic!!

We didn't stay at the planet hollywood but the service at one of the clubs was horrible. it felt like they were racist or something. the worst experience i have encountered at any club in vegas. would not recommend it to anyone. i would not even stay there. i wanted to stay there but not anymore!!

location was great ,night life was amazing and the room was nice. Front desk agent was not really helpful ,she was not even paying attention to us when check in talking to some friend. But over all experinece the hotel was great.

I Stayed there last month and it was GREAT!!! it was very clean staff was helpful, room was always clean, great location on the strip, shows and club were excellent . Most defiantly going to stay here again!!!!!

Thanks to my wonderful boss, we were able to get a great deal on a Resort Room. Very nice-would have preferred a king bed instead of two doubles- and the decor was weird (BettleJuice???) but the Miracle Mile kept us busy for two days and the Sports Bar was very relaxing. With two small children, this was definitely a place to get away for a few days. I recommend it if you can afford it- very pricey- and dont mind be hassled by the sales people on the casino floor. The service seemed fine nothing really stood out. And maybe I haven't been to Vegas in a while and due to the economy that Peep Show was pushed ALOT. The bathroom was the best part, a nice bath is always the remedy for a hangover. Overall, a great time with my husband.

I love the bathroom; going with four ladies can be hasty but it helps out a lot. Love the restaurants in the hotel we couldn't get enough of the sandwich shop and Mexican restaurants. Plus the mall had a good place to eat too. Valet service was awesome quick and professional. Pool was a little small but made good friends in hot tub. Can't wait to come back.

I loved this hotel its trendy has everything you need(shopping, dining, starbucks, liquor store, great casino,staff very friendly,rooms are great etc.) only thing i didnt like was that the bouncer at prive night club was a jerk.... other then that awesome hotel.. def stayin here agian

the planet hollywood is a good place to have fun and sleep.

Wouldn't stay here again - it was the same price as Paris, where we stayed last time, but the ambience and service at the Paris were far superior. We found the check in staff member very abrupt and 3 of the 4 staff we encountered at the Player's club were just plain rude. Also, I really think mention should be made of the fact that this is an adult oriented resort now. We took young teens thinking it would like the PH restaurants, geared toward a movie memorabilia theme, but it has more of a stripper theme! As you walk to the elevators you can't miss the pole dancers on platforms around the table games in the area called the Pleasure Pit and there are lots of ads for the show called the Peepshow, which has topless dancers. We were on floor 7 and the room was thumping from music from down below so we did not sleep well. Room was very dark. Main part of bathroom was bright but separate toilet area was dimly lit. Overall there are much better choices for your money!

Waited in line 30 minutes to check in. I had reserved non-smoking, but they had only smoking rooms available. Room was moldy, dirty, and smelly. Couch was torn, and the carpets were stained.
