Terrible Pool
By ,
Great location. nice casino, good food, terrible pool. The pool has no atmosphere, no music, too few chairs, too many kids, and was too cold. Thankfully we were able to go to pools at the other Harrahs properties (Ceasars wasawesome).

Holiday Inn pool
By ,
We were very disappointed in the pool at PH. It was way too cold, there was no music (supposedly the music was on, but it was so low we couldn't even hear it), there were too many kids, and tons of wasted space in the pool area while not enough seats by the actual pool. Koi was awesome! We'd definitely go back there to eat at Koi. The rooms were nice, but be sure to request extra towels because there was no shower mat left. We had to use hand towels!

Terrible Comps!
By ,
My wife and I, along with my 16 year old son and his 16 year old cousin stayed at Planet Hollywood for 3 nights, then went to Luxor on 3 nights as rooms were comped. Both my wife and I love to play craps and spend about 10 hrs per day playing, if not more. We it all o the Harrah's casinos that 3 days in order to get the optimal comps before checking out and going to Luxor (an MGM property). Here's my reviews: Casino: Very loud DJ plays Lady Gaga etc., every night so loudly, that the dealers can't hear what your bet is. Why is every casino in vegas a strip club experience? Less than attractive girls on pedestals with loud horrible music. The noise was way too much. Hotel room: OK, but nothing to write home about. It was dimly lit but I like that. Pool: Sucked. Comps: Horrible. After gambling exclusively at Planet Hollywood and other properties (and we lost a ton of money), I was comped $25. In comparison, we stayed the remaining 3 nights of our vacation at Luxor and gambled less as we got killed at PH, and were upgraded to a large suite and given back $200 when we checked out. Harrah's is the worst with comps! Don't even bother with the labor of sticking your card in and out of the machines, and don't worry about minimum bets at the tables as you will not be rewarded!

Great Vacation Experience
By ,
This ws our first visit to Vegas, and we will admit that that it was not our first choice, but it turned out great. The room was nice, the LOCATION WAS SUPER. Having the mall around the hotl was even better. Would go back again.

BED BUGS!!!!! - DO NOT STAY HERE!
By ,
ATTENTION POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS: I stayed here back in April, on our last day we found over a dozen bed bugs in one of the beds, they were coming from the headboard. We (myself and the other people in my trip) are just hearing back from PH reps, they informed us that there is nothing they can do about it and they have not even said sorry. DO NOT STAY HERE - JUST ON ACCOUNTS OF CUSTOMER SERVICE

NOT my top pick.
By ,
Although Planet Hollywood offers a super location on the strip, and the Miracle Mile shops are fantastic, there's nothing special about this property. The room was dark, very poorly lit. They shut off the water one night without notification or apologies. Time Share salespeople assault you at every turn. If your vacation involves any down time at the pool, then DO NOT stay here. I can't stress this strongly enough. This is one of the worst, most lack luster, non-descript pools in the valley. No character, no feeling of luxury, not even a neat little shop to buy the necessities (sunscreen, etc.) There is more ambience at my local community pool. Minimal poolside space, and absolutely horrible accoustics playing a bad mix of top 40 with an unnecessary added back beat with hip hop DJ's blasting crap over the top of it. The result is a headache-inducing cacophony of echoing noise that even my ipod couldn't mask. The bar/cafe area looked dirty and very unappealing. I didn't appreciate having to look at a photo of an enormous chicken wrap while trying to soak up some desert sun.

Will not stay here again!!!
By ,
On arrival immediately approach by sales floor sharks for PH several times. When finally in room no coffee marker, microwave or refrigerator. A refrigerator cost $25 a day and internet $14 per day. All these assescories appeared to be free with room online.

Daughter had her wedding at Planet Hollywood.
By ,
My daughter lives in Vegas and chose Planet Hollywood to get married at. The entire family got discounts and stood at the Hotel. We had a great time and the service was great. The suite that the reception was held in had a spectacular view. The casino is among one of the best that I have visited. Planet Hollywood is within walking distance to Major Hotels and Casinos. They also have plenty of shoppes to satisfy everyone.

The location of the hotel is its only asset.
By ,
Service and cleanliness really need huge improvement. They charge a resort fee and with that they provide 2 bottles of water and a daily paper. They only provide these items sometimes. We stayed for a week and the maid service never cleaned the bathroom floors. When you try to speak with someone to resolve a problem they are impossible to contact. Considering all the other wonderful places you can stay on the Vegas strip this would be last on my list.
