Relax Inn, Grand Island

i live in california where i remodel houses for a living. after remodeling motel owners home i was asked if i would go to nebraska to fix up hotel. once arriving in nebraska i was treated very rudely with motel owner expecting me to fix up the whole place but refused to buy necessary material. i was then told i had to work on hotel till i earned enough money to buy my own bus ticket back to california.they can kiss my butt.i walked myself to bus station3 miles away purchased my own ticket with my own money went back to hotel packed my stuff. two hours later ask manager to drive me to bus station and headed back to california. i refused to stoop down to their level.the motel needs alot of work and out of 31 rooms half of them are unrentable due to extreme filth and poor maintenance. my opinion is rooms are ok to stay in if you dont mind a health risk enviroment. i wish the motel the best of luck fixing up to a livable standard. i mean alot alot alot of luck....... by the way after arriving in california i listened to my voicemail where owner had left a message saying i had to vacate premises.. ha ha ha ha ha i already had

This place was very dirty and smelly. I do not think they have a cleaning crew. It was a nightmare.

Horrible staff. Dirty beyond belief. This place should be torn down. Perhaps I should call the health department!

This place was the most discusting place i have ever seen, It was not clean and the beds were old and gross... The other comments that were wrote on how nice the place was must have been from owners themselves.. don't waste your money or time here, just keep on driving.

This place is a dump!! Roaches are everywhere and heating, cooling are terrible and the water is always cold. Please do yourself a favor and don't stay here....

Well I dont know who to believe, you got 3 reviews saying this place is a dive in the hole, then you got 3 people who are saying the complete opposite!!

staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean , i would stay again and great downtown location

The staff was very rude they were not people friendly, their was 3 bald guys behind the counter that wore bandanas, at first i thought they were gangsters, The room i got was awful, the bathroom was full of hair, their was a shopping cart near my door. I had people knocking on my door at 3 am, The toilet was not bolted down correctly and was leaking water. The head board was loose. fire alarm kept beeping all night, I called the office and the lady sent someone to look at it.When he got there he walked in and started starring at the ceiling, he went back to the office I don't think he understood me. I left, i did not even ask for a refund I will not ever come back ever again to the place it was not worth the time and money. .............................

location of the motel is great!!!!!!! room is big and nice. cleanliness of rm very good. price is good for the rms. i would stay again at this motel

OK, I didn't actually see any rats, but they would have felt at home here. The paint was pealing off the walls, the sink was hanging half way off the bathroom wall. It was AWFUL ! The was junk motorcycle and a beat up shopping cart nearly in front of my room door. Stay away from this place ! Run Away This place was unclean, poorly maintained, and didn't make me feel safe or comfortable at all !
