Camelot Inn & Suites, York

This place was terrible. I booked a hot-tub suite on their website for my fiance and I that was supposedly nonsmoking. After we checked in we discovered it was a smoking room. It smelled awful and was also just dingy everywhere. When we asked to get a nonsmoking hot-tub room, they told us they didn't even have any! Obviously, we asked for a refund, and after a lot of hassle, they said it would be fine. But a week later it still hadn't been refunded to my credit card. In the months that followed, the owner refused to ever take any of my phone calls and now says that we used the room for 30 minutes (a blatant lie) before asking for a refund so we are responsible for the full charge of $125! Ridiculous! Please don't go here!!! Don't reward Liars and Cheaters!!!

Checked in about 9pm. Asked for a two bed,smoking, and got a two bed nonsmoking,when I called down to tell them was informed that they didn't have anymore smoking rooms and was put in a one bed smoking with a pull out couch.The night clerk was rude when I asked about the price difference. We waited for about ten minutes for them to bring up a key so we could get into the room. When she did finally get up there she handed me the bedding for the pull out and left. The Mattresses on both the bed and the pull out where stained and smelled. When I walked into the room it smelled like something spoiled. the Cont. breakfast was donuts and warm coffee...ended up going to McDonalds for breakfast for the kids. Would not stay there again...never

The beds were uncomfortabe, the place stunk, the trash hadn't been empied or the shower cleaned, there were bugs everywhere and the manager was horrable. Breakfast was little-debbie snacks and old coffee. We will never stay there again!!!
