Yodeler, Red Lodge

The Yodeler might be one of those little gems. After checking in and sharing a fun conversation with the outgoing owners, I checked in to find a sauna in my room. The room was comfortable and clean. The hot tub was also a bonus. Perhaps best of all, beyond the price, was that The Yodeler is only a few blocks from downtown, an easy walk, even through all the snow. This locally owned motel has a lot of character and charm and the owners are certainly proud and willing to go out of there way to make you feel at home.

We stayed for a few nights at the Yodeler last week and it was great. I love the affordability, the Swiss chalet feel (it has a ton more character than the chain motels, plus the owners know your name), the fire going in lobby, the rooms were extremely comfortable and had everything we needed in them, the beds were SO COMFORTABLE, and my favorite part: the STEAM SAUNA right in our shower! I had never used one of these before, and typically I am not a sauna person, but this was fantastic after a wet day of skiing. And I loved that it was right in our room! I slept so well after about 15 minutes in the steam shower. I also really appreciated being able to walk downtown and the proximity to the ski hill. Our room was very quiet even though it faced the highway. Overall, the Yodeler was a great place to rejuvenate and I wish we could've stayed longer!

We loved our recent stay at The Yodeler Motel in Red Lodge. The young, new owners were very energetic and friendly. They offered great service and went the extra mile to help make our vacation most enjoyable. The rooms were very clean and spacious. The hot tub was great too. The hotel is in a great location in Red Lodge. With a retro feel, friendly & knowledgeable owners, The Yodeler is a nice change from the "chain" hotels. We are looking forward to returning this summer with the kids for vacation.

We 78 year olds found the room with the kitchenette perfect for us.  Our room was spacious.  The room, bath, kitchenette, and all linens were very clean.  The prices are reasonable, and our AARP discount was recognized.Everything is in walking distance with the historic downtown only three blocks away.The new young energetic  owners are very personable and are also knowledgable about the area and its history.  They were happy to recommend good restaurants, interesting sights to see and things to doWe definitely feel that the Yodeler Motel is the place to stay in Red Lodge, Montana.

The new owners are very knowledgeable of the Red Lodge Area and can recommend activities and sights to see. The rooms are very clean and show pride of ownership. The motel is in walking distance to downtown.

We visit the Yodeler on a regular basis during the ski season and in the summer. It is our top choice for value and the atmosphere is laid back and inviting. We are avid outdoorspeople and the new owners are an excellent source of information for our forays into the mountains. Way Cool.

My husband and I came to Red Lodge to explore the Beartooth mountains and the Greater Yellowstone ecosystem. The Yodeler turned out to be a cool little Inn to base our explorations. The new owners are vivacious and a great source of information and the accomodations were clean and well mantained. We will surely recommend this funky little retro Inn.

I love this place. We like to get out of Billings for the weekends when we can and we absolutely love the King Jacuzzy Suite with the balcony right on the front of the main street. Always quiet, Always clean.

My wife and I make regular trips for the weekend to Red Lodge and we always stay there. It is close to downtown, the rooms are a bit small, but clean and quiet. Will continue to stay there and be very happy
