Horrible PLace!!!!!!
By ,
I stayed there for 3 weeks and the owners/managers of the travel west inn came through my room and stole my wallet and a couple days later when we left the room for the day, they gave out are room key to a homeless guy. we came back with nothing left in our room. During some nights there would be HOOKERS walking through the building, There was 2 or three drug busts by the DEA in that building, crackheads walking around, its not a family place at all..for the money just go to jupiter on 27th way nicer.

RUDE OWNER, RUDE CRUDE and MEAN TO AMERICANS
By ,
I hoped this was a hidden gem for the price. I thought the advertised price of $ 54 dollars was true, but when we checked in, we were told that was the old price, and that now it was 76 dollars. I indicated that it was of utmost importance that was be placed at a very quiet part of the motel, as we were in town for a very important appointment the next morning. Upon arrival they could not find out reservation due to the booking system being down. I showed them my email confirmation and was toldI was lying, there was reservation, they don’t make reservations.. We indicated again the importance of a quiet room and was told we could get a free upgrade to a king. We were given our key and instructions on the satellite remotes. The man at the front counter stated that should we need anything it would be available only until 11pm. We dropped our luggage in the rooms and went to have supper. We came back around 10:30 and the room was very hot, we turned the heater off and watched a bit of tv. I went to plug my laptop in and found a plug behind the dresser, it was very dirty with drywall, trash and dust. I went to have a shower before bed. I opened the shower and it had a lot of mold. I looked at the clock and it was past 11pm(front desk not available). Had to take a sponge bath from the sink. By this time the room was getting chilly and I noticed there was a low setting on the heater fan, turned it on and it made a horrible clunky noise, so it was either roast or freeze. Turned off the lights and tv around 11:45pm. This is when we noticed all the other noises, we were placed by the laundry room and from the adjoining wall was a loud popping/banging noise, not to mention the ice machine right across the hall that make a loud noise when ice was dispensed, but you could hear very clearly when it filled. Neither of these intrusions let up through-out the night. I was willing to overlook a few things because of the price, however too due to lack of sleep (and I wasn't able to sleep at all) I cannot.. The breakfast served bread with mold on it. The mild was sour. When I complained, they said they were charging me extra for being a bad customer, and three days later an extra day appeared on my bill. I complained, and they called me a stupid American, and that I only get what I deserved, they said. I wrote this review before, only to find it deleted a few days later, apparently they wont allow americans to speak their opinion, what ever happened to free speech?

It was okay.
By ,
It was very clean and there were a lot of channels on the television. It was also very spacious. It would have been nice if there was some sort of channel were you can purchase movies.

close to business and downtown, Convenient for hospitals. Clean, inexpensive. Easy access. Centrally located. Quiet. Nice staff. Reasonable amenities.Staff remembers you after you've been there, not stand-offish like the chains.

Best Value in Billings
By ,
This is the only place I would consider for staying overnight in Billings. I've stayed there often and highly recommend it for my friends when they are in Billings. The second floor units with small verandas provide a unique touch. The beds are a little soft in some units but the other amenities make up for it.

Downtown's Happy Little Secret
By ,
My uncle always stays here when he comes to town, so on his recommendation, I tried it. It is now my favored place to stay when in Billings. Staff is friendly, rooms are cozy, comfortable and very clean. Price is right.
