Keep coming back
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/09/08
I've stayed here at the Royal Seven for the past 20 years on every visit to Bozeman. I usually come here in the winter to ski and visit. It is budget priced, clean and roomy. And only about 15 minutes to the airport.

Home away from home!
By Jan Asle, 06/04/08
Have stayed here five times so far, and it's downright my favorite motel - anywhere. And I have travelled through 44 states and stayed at a great many motels. Royal 7 has just the right balance of budget and coziness. Great staff, big, clean rooms, big tvs, convenient location, and reasonably priced! One can tell the owners take pride in their motel, too, which is always a good thing!

Business on a budget
By Sherry, 05/31/08
This place is clean easy to find, easy on the pocket book and after some of the so called budget hotels this one puts them to shame.

Funky and Noisy
By aaz, 05/29/08
Based on glowing reviews and quite a price differential, we stayed here both going and coming on a recent trip, rather than a chain motel. Staff was friendly, room and bathroom were large. It was very nice to have a fridge and microwave. We had the same room both times, separated by several days. It was spotlessly clean the first time but not so the second time--crumbs of chips along base of bed platform, a hair in sink, coffee splatters on walls in several places that would wash off if attempted. Place hasn't been updated in decades, no outlet at all in bathroom, shabby carpet. Definitely NOT soundproofed. We very clearly heard the people in the next room. The first time it was a family with little kids and the noise was only during normal waking hours. The second time it was a riotous gathering and it kept us from getting to sleep easily but thankfully did not last into the wee hours. It was like trying to sleep on a couch in the living room when 8 people are laughing and joking in the dining room. We could almost follow the conversation.

Best pillows in town
By Katherine, 12/13/07
This is like a well-kept secret. The motel, although a little older, is well maintained, clean and comfortable. The best part is that it is affordable, especially for large family gatherings. We try to stay there every year for homecoming at MSU.

Good Value
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/26/07
The motel looks a little sketchy from the outside. However, the rooms are great with high quality amenities. Great location. There were 20 people in our group and we had 10 rooms. All the rooms were comparable.

Best stop of our trip
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/13/07
We enjoyed the Royal 7. They had a large, no-smoking room with fridge and microwave. The kids loved running around on the nice lawn after a long day in the car. Helpful staff. All so much better than the bland, drab Holiday Inn we stayed in later. We contemplated the extra miles to stay there again on the return trip but it was just too far. Definitely recommend.

Best Bargain in Bozeman
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/25/07
The room size was ample and clean. The location is convenient and accessible to all of Bozeman. The Personnel were friendly and most helpful. I plan to stay there next time in Bozeman.

Great value.

An older property with big, clean rooms. Great location not far from airport. Friendly staff. Would stay here again. Within 90 minutes of Yellowstone. Close to restaraunts, groceries, WalMart.

Cheap is neat!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/03/06
Don't be fooled by the retro sign and the "motel"-y exterior...the rooms are much nicer inside: clean, comfortable, and with everything a larger chain would boast: coffeepot, ironing board and iron, big tv, microwave, minifridge. The location is right near downtown but far enough from the bars and the road to be quiet. And, a nice full pressure shower before your free breakfast. The wireless wasn't quite working, but there is a service terminal in the lobby. Plus, when you compare to the many $100-130 rooms in Bozeman...this is well worth it. Might be a little chilly for that outdoor pool, but that's just one way of seperating out the locals from the Californians.
