5 reviews for Many Glacier Hotel, East Glacier Park
A wonderful 5 days
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/07/08
We loved the rustic atmosphere & each morning we woke up to a spectacular view of the mountains & the lake. It was worth the time & the money. Would like a broader menu at the restaurants, but overall the food was very good! We look forward to another visit!!!!

THIRTY TWO YEARS
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/06/08
THIS IS TRULY ONE OF A KIND PLACE! HAVING BEEN GOING THERE OVER A PERIOD OF 36 YEARS- I CAN FIND NOTHING TO COMPARE WITH THE EXPERIENCE.HIKING,HORSEBACK TRAIL RIDES, , BOATING, FINE DINING, GAME WATCHING,OR JUST SITTING ON THE BALCONY TAKING IN THE VIEW- A MORE RELAXING ATMOSPHERE WOULD BE DIFFICULT TO IMAGINE OR FIND. IF A PERSON DOSES NOT LIKE THIS TYPE OF EXPERIENCE--WANTS A MORE MODERN HECTIC PACE--TRY LAKE LOUISE AND LITERALLY FIGHT THE TOURISTS! THE GREATEST DISAPPOINTMENT OF MANY GLACIER WAS SEVERAL YEARS AGO WHEN IT WAS CLOSED FOR REMODELING AND I WAS FORCED TO STAY ELSWHERE!

Great Place
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/29/07
Reviews that we read made us question if we should cancel our trip - fortunatly we did not and just assumed that those who wrote some of their dislikes were expecting a hotel liek that of what they are accostomed to in a glitcy city. The rooms were small but clean and we did not spend much time in the rooms except to sleep. The views and location is beyond explaination and I am glad we chose Many Galcier over the other. The service was good (we stayed a week) and during that week we had one server that was poor. I can see that if someone was at the lodge for one night why they would be upset with the service if they had the one person that we had serving them.. All of the other meals and service was great. The staff was very helpful - I ranked the service at five and did not downgrade it because of one person who should not have been waiting tables or should have had a manager assist until they got the hang of the routine ( I still don't think that would have helped her). Our family hasd a great time - if you are looking for a place to hike, see beautiful scenery, plenty of animals and relax - this is the place.

Picturesque
By ChadK, 01/18/06
It was beautifully located in the middle of glacier country with many hiking trails in and out of the area. Breath-taking views everywhere! The morning breakfast was quite extensive, they had just about everything from cereal to pancakes to eggs and bacon. Definitely try to get a room with a belcony, it's well worth it!

September Visit
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/11/04
Magnificent location. Hotel planned to enhance enjoyment of the area. Many wildlife sightings, more than Yellowstone the same year. Staff friendly. Exterior repairs do not impair enjoyment of ths hotel and surroundings. Horseback riding well done. Elevator under construction. Rooms clean, attractive, rustic. Other visitors very friendly.
