B & B Motel, Lewistown

My husband, baby and I were in town on business. I am leary of motels with doors directly to the outside, but because of a large event in town we stayed there. I checked the dead bolt and it was wobbolly (sp?) but I knew it was one of the only rooms in town (my mistake). The first night was okay, but the 2nd night a man broke into our room while I was asleep and threatend to assault me. I ran to the office, but no one was there so I ran down the street until I found a police man, who arrested the man. When I asked for a refund the front desk person told me the police broke into my room and cussed at me! Though eventually did give me a refund Do not stay here, it is something I will regret for my entire life.

My husband and I moved to Lewistown, MT two years ago. Upon arriving after a very long drive we tried to rent a room at the B & B motel and she refused to rent to us because of our 6 yr. old son (who was asleep at the time). She arrogantly claimed she only rents to 'workers' and not families. She told us to get the hell off of her property and slammed the window on us. I would not recommend this place to anyone. That woman has the desposition of a rabid snake.

clean rooms, friendly staff, close to downtown and reasonably priced

This place lies along the route I chose to travel to Glacier National Park. There are two problems with the property, one-it sits along the main thoroughfare through town which has lots of noisy truck traffic and two, it has a surly female manager. I obtained the phone number from my GPS and called to see what their rate was and she refused to even quote me a rate until she physically saw my triple A card. Then when we decided to use a different credit card in my wife's name, she demanded to see HER triple a card before giving us a whopping five dollar discount. We were tired and needed to crash so we took the room. Also, they do the old Montana rate game, the rate that is quoted on internet sights if for ONE person. Additional occupants add to the rate. We wound up paying $65 for two people for the privilege of listening to rumbling truck traffic all night.
