Very Disappointing

The room (other than the leaky window) and breakfast were fine, but when we checked out Saturday morning, we were overcharged by $448. The employee on duty said he couldn't issue a credit but the General Manager would take care of it on Monday. The credit still hasn't been issued and I can not get the GM to return my calls. There are plenty of hotels in Omaha; my advice is to go elsewhere.

Awesome room

My wife and I stayed here during out New Years getaway, and it was great. We had the jacuzzi suite for 2 nights and it couldnt have been better. Room was great, service was great, location was also great. Only downfall was parking but were there over New Years so that was to be expected.

Terrible Customer Service

Be careful not to complain to the hotel concierge at check in as they will feel very threatened if you ask for their supervisor and almost want to come out from behind and hurt you. The hotel itself is very nice but the customer service form that specific person was extremely dissatisfying. I felt threatened and humiliated. Be careful if you ask for a manager on shift besides him

Very unclean.

The location of this motel is very convenient to the Plaza for shopping and dining. However, I would not recommend this motel because my room was extremely dirty. I am not a neat freak, but the carpet was visibly filthy, the tile in the bathroom was dirty, and even the lamps and clock radio were dirty. This is unfortunate because the lobby was nicely done and appeared to be clean, and the desk clerk was very friendly. I arrived late in the day and did not have time to find other lodging. If I had arrived earlier, I would have left. As far as value is concerned, if the room had been reasonably clean, it would have been a good value because of the location.

Loved my stays

The manager is a doll, she was so helpful to me both times I've stayed there. I missed breakfast, but she went into the kitchen to get something for me to eat. I've been there twice and do plan on staying there again when I make it back to KC. The room was nice, roomy and the staff was great to me.

What a great place to stay!

We arrived the day after new mattresses were installed in all of the rooms with double beds! Imagine, plush pillowtop NEW mattresses...for a great plaza rate of $89. Excellent value for the price paid. Staff was exceptional (even after we changed the room type/reservation dates..after we arrived) and the really new the area. Sent us to excellent restaurants both nights. Room was clean and spacious. Can't wait to go back!

No shuttle services The toilet ran. I got locked out of my room with no key and even thu the Housekeeperr was right there claimed she had no main key The help downstairs had the personality of a dead fish

Warning! Use the security latch.

While I was preparing to take a shower a maintenance man attempted to enter the room without knocking. Luckily, I had used the security latch and the door came open only part way. I was standing there naked and very frightened. I immediately called down to the front desk to find out what had happened. I explained to them the situation and their response : " We will have a talk with the maintenance man. " I said " He almost came in while I was naked " They responded " But he didn't see you naked" Be careful. I don't feel this Best Western acknowledges a potentially serious problem.

Plaza Location Without The Price!

We love this hotel! The staff is very friendly and helpful, the rooms are comfortable and clean and the fitness room was just right for us. The location is perfect for anyone who wants to be near the Country Club Plaza without paying for a 'Plaza' address. Close to Westport, the Plaza, Nelson Atkins Art Museum and Mom's Diner (the best breakfast in KC).

First and Last

I had reserved 2 rooms about a month ago. I booked the rooms directly with the hotel. The girl I talked to was suppose to email me my conformation information. She didn't. When we arrived they only had one room reserved for me. I had 6 people. They finally said they had one room left but it was smoking. I took that one and gave the nonsmoking room to my folks. You have to go down to the first floor for ice but the ice machine was broke. They took me to the storage room and gave me some ice out of their refrigerator. The people behind the counter were nice but the place wasn't somewhere I would stay at again. The only good thing was their Continental Breakfast, it was really good. It was an older hotel that has been reconditioned on a budget. Never again.
