Truman Hotel & Conference Center, Jefferson City

My room was 85 degrees with no way to cool it down except leave the door open in November! This was most likely a good hotel in 1970 but pass this on up when you come to Jefferson City.

I like everything about this place except the blatant display of lack of concern the evening crew displayed, If you are a computer buff, I hope you don't have problems with the wireless connection. My Experience was: Day one no connectivity at all, I called the front desk, "we will get on it" and hour and a half I called back, again the same answer. I called two more times, went to bed no commection. Day 2 I returned from work and tried to log on, without prevail, I called the front desk and she said I will get someone on it, I told her that is what was said last night. I called back after a while and she said we offer the internet but dont guarentee it???? I finally called the wireless network and they resat the Access Point and works fine. Why couldn't the Hotel call the network and have it solved yesterday.

My first impression wasn't very good when I saw holes in the bedspread. Then when I went to take a shower I found that there was no soap, shampoo, cups for drinking water, or bath mat. I also found that there was no coffee, sugar, creamer, or cups for the in-room coffeemaker. It was apparent that housekeeping had not done their job. I called the front desk to request the missing items. It took 25 minutes to receive them. This delayed my shower until after 11pm and I had an early morning conference to attend. The free Ramada 4 movies are not new releases by any stretch of the imagination. They are available at your local video rental stores or viewing on dishnet or directv. The free hot breakfast choices were very limited.
