Garden Plaza St. Louis West / St. Peters, St. Peters

I am sorry to say that this Hotel is really run down. We had the Executive room and the bathroom eas just terrible. Rusty sink drains and an beat out tub. Carpet was dirty and the air conditioner was very noisey. Should of been half the price. Not worth it. The Hotel definately needs work. Jacuzzi did not work. Pass on this one.

I work in the hotel business and this hotel was so nasty. We went to go get into the pool and noticed no towels. Asked the front desk for towels and after almost 45 minutes of waiting, there were still no towels. Not that it mattered because I wouldn't let my son get in the pool, it was disgusting and green looking. The room's A/C was blowing air but not cold air. The lights flickered on and off three or four times. The hotel was very outdated and not clean at all! Please do not waste your money.

Just returned from overnight stay at this hotel and I would not recommend it to anyone. We had booked this hotel for the location and from the photos on the web site. We had requested a 2:00 pm check in time and the rooms were not cleaned until 3:45pm so I had to spend almost 2 hours waiting for our rooms. The game area was filthy the trash cans had not been emptied from the day before and there was trash all over the place. The work out room had dirty towels hanging from all the equipment and looked like it had not been cleaned in some time. The pool area looked liked it had not been cleaned in sometime either there was dirty towels all over the chairs and there was no clean towels. The front desk staff said they were busy from the night before, all this before we even got to our rooms. At 3:45pm when they said our rooms were ready we went upstairs and it wasn't much cleaner than the holidome area. The cleaning staff was leaving the rooms when we got there, once inside we discovered that there was burned out light bulbs, lamps did not turn on, alarm clocks were not plugged in, coffee pots were not plugged in and there was food(grapes) left on the floor. There was heavy rain in St. Louis this night and the roof leaked. We woke up Sunday morning and our carpet in the room was soaked from the roof leaking. We could not even walk through the room without getting our pant legs wet. I called the front desk to let them know about the floors and they sent up maintenance and the guy told us that the room above us was much worse. We could tell by the smell in the room and the walls that this was not the first time this room had leaked like this before. With all of this I had enough and I felt we should be given a discount off the rooms. After speaking with the manager on duty for about ten minutes she finally gave in and gave me a $50.00 discount off the price of 1 room and said it was a act of god for the rain and the can not control the roof leaking. I will never stay at this hotel again and I hope that they fix all of the problems

Service is always top notch at this hotel however I had noticed that it was beginning to need updating. I was pleasantly surprise to find newly renovated rooms on my most recent visit, just what the hotel needed!! See you next month!!

Nice and clean, friendly staff. We really enjoyed the pool and bar. Close to downtown St. Louis. Many good restaurants around also. Will definately go back.

The staff was unattentive and rude when you could find them. The TV did not work properly and we were told there was nothing that could be done and this was for a superbowl weekend getaway! The bed was the most uncomfortable I have ever tried to sleep in, in my life! This was supposed to be a romantic getaway for our anniversery and it was a nightmare. Do not stay in this place even if it is the last place available!
