Don't waste your money or nights sleep...
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/2/10
We stayed there Saturday, May 29, 2010. I called to make the reservationand was told that the only king bedroom was on the executive floor. The cost was $30 more that the other floors. I was promised access to the executive lounge (we don't drink) and a free continental breakfast. Once we arrived, I found that the executive floor was not worth the base rate much less the upgrade rate. The lounge was closed and there was no breakfast unless we wanted to pay for roomservice or pay to dine in the resturant downstairs. Upon entering the hotel lobby, it was extremely noisy. But, hey we are on the 12th floor, so no worries. Wrong... the people in the room next to us were having their own party. The room was filthy. Trash in the trash cans from the previous guest, Toilet and bathtub were unclean. Air conditioner did not cool the room very well, etc. Needless to say, we will never stay there again. It was not at all what I expected from the outside appearance.

good staff, but too much filth & noise
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/19/08
the staff was great, but the hotel was dirty & the walls were so thin, we could hear the couple next door being intimate. we changed rooms & the next door neighbor played the tv so loud (from 5 pm til 12:30 am) we could not sleep. each time, security was called & the problem was rectified, but there should be a way to eleviate the noise. also, there was patrons in the hallways being extremely noisy at 2:30 am. i had my own($4.00) soap bar in the bathroom & the maids took it. the coffee & tea packets were not replenished each day. the bed was extremely comfortable & the a/c & heater worked great. i felt we were in a safe location & the on-ground security guard (in parking lot) kept a keen eye on everything.

Horrible business trip experience
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/3/07
Failed to honor room rate quote, ceiling leaking from bathroom above, bait-&-switch on the type room available, poor to no internet connectivity in rooms, not our fault attitude from management.

Superb
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/28/07
It was within walking distance of a fabulous and shopping center with a Best Buy! My thirteen children visited Academy Sports and have already made their list for Santa Clause. They want a Rangemodel Air-Rifle and a Polaris Sportsman. My wife and I ate at an authentic Chinese Restaurant, the King Buffet. We ate so much exquisite cuisine for a meager eight dollars each. The wonderful mall had a Victoria's Secret, and my ladyfriend bought some edible unmentionables. So this hotel gets a really nice score. We will make the journey from Lloyd Star to grand ole' Jackson in the near future if the good Lord permits.

Not worth it!!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/23/05
It was impossible to park. Could not get help from the front desk. Check in took forever. The hotel is very attractive, but staff was not helpful when we needed directions or extra pillows. Housekeeping was noisy and woke us up. Too expensive for a so-so hotel. Trafic in the area was terrible.

Hilton, high point of trip
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/10/04
The Hilton in Jackson, MS was a business/pleasure traveler's dream. Reserved rooms, one requiring senior accommodations, and all requests were met. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Hotel and restaurant wait staff were professional and courteous. Will definitely stay at this hotel to meet future travel needs.
